- Hi fam, as I continue to black out my emblems, I will install this matte black vinyl Toyota logo to give my front grill a stealthy look! I purchased this product from Premium Auto Styling and am not endorsed by them, just sharing a good experience with their product. There's not issues with the front sensor located behind the Toyota emblem and install is very forgiving if you have to repeel and reapply. I have blue on the car I have currently. However, I am getting a new car and this time, I'm going with red. I hate that their hybrids have a blue tint to the emblem. That said, THANK YOU!
I agree, the hybrid emblems are annoying to look at for me!

Good luck, it installation is more forgiving in warmer weather but you can use a blow dryer if it's colder outside.

@@vietbubbletea I think I’ll have to heat my garage up a little 😂 doing window chrome delete, black badging ( except the platinum badge, I can’t find one) grill blackout, LED interior lights, and blackout turn signals. I have an arctic pearl highlander as well, 1500 whole miles on it. Oh, I put a low- glare screen protector on too, that has been a good addition

I think because you installed the black "wing", this completes the look and goes nicely with the black wing.

Hey, I got rid of my white platinum for a 2021 Avalon after all the upgrades I did to my platinum,and I regretted that decision for the last 7 months, so I went and traded in the Avalon for a black 2021 platinum which I’m ok about but I love the white. But anyway I have to rewatch all your vids to do all the upgrades again. So thanks for your videos. I’m also interested if you’re ever going to Canada so I can get that bug deflector because the shipping to NY is almost $100

Does this affect the sensors at all behind the emblem?
That's always a concern I have not I've had no sensor issues in my experience specifically the one one located behind the front emblem. My radar cruise control works as expected and have had no issues with alerts of any kind.

Would a wet install like doing window tint make it easier?
It might be possible but the directions only mention dry or heat installation. The vinyl is stretchable to curve around the emblem so if you tried a cold wet application, it may stiffen the product and make it harder to install.
Does adding the vinyl affect the radar system?
None at all, I shared my final thoughts at the end of the video after having it on for the past month, no issues with proximity sensors or adaptive cruise control.
