When I joined the community, I was like “what could happen” until it all begins. For 2 or 3 years I was in the community until I left, and it could be for a good reason, you see…..there are 2 people that ruined it for me…and I’m not Gonna name them both, or otherwise there’s gonna be consequences. There are so many people that could ruin the whole franchise or community, whatever you wanna call it. Until at the point you just gonna have to watch the whole community rot to the ground. And it’s all because of the movie. It’s because they only pay attention to the movie, not the original franchise.

I agree, this movie should never exist. Hell even this movie starts to break my heart more then any other movie and show I ever watched. And I agree with you the plot is basic, most of the characters are not great, even the gore is pretty cheap. Not to mention that the splits have no souls in the movie or even any personality, I mean if they want to make the splits robots fine, that’s just fine but come on they’re the banana splits not a bunch of Michael Meyers rip off’s. Even tho I hate this thing I did like a few things in this abomination, and my friend Ethan did some analyzing on one of the characters that could work, for example I thought that magic shop, jungle, the sloppy time course and the circus would fit the banana splits but the problem with them is that most of them are too small or too bland, heck even making a combination of the clubhouse from the original and from 2008 makes it feel more bland, all there is is a bunch of basic wavy lines and a bunch of off putting colors and it’s a shame that Drooper never got a set of his own so I decided to change some of the sets to be more creative and a bit bigger hell me and my friends decided to make a barber shop for Fleegle, next things is the characters me and my friends did some analyzing and yeah most of their acting wasn’t great like the Williams family, Johnathan and his daughter, Karl, and even the Andy douche bag. However there were a few characters that stand out to us. One of my favorite characters were Thadd and Poppy cause they represent me and my girlfriend and other people of who they are a fan of the show sure even if they can be a pain at most times but most of the times that’s just how fans are they can’t help of what they like and honestly they make a good couple, the downside of this is where Fleegle saws Thadd in half which not only was it very cheesy but it really starts to make me feel bad to see him die like this and poppy feeling broken down that makes her take revenge and try turning herself into the fifth banana split of Hootie which by the way doesn’t work for me. It really did ruin their character’s for us, in fact I don’t think these two would be fit for this movie. They could of at least been side characters for the actual splits show being super fans of them which what I plan to do, the next one is Stevie which I would understand why he sucks in the film as another dead body, but when looking at his character more we see some sympathy for him, hell my friend Ethan considers him as his favorite, it shows that Stevie is not getting the respect he wanted to have and having the fans not like him that much but he was just trying doing his job in the show but he never gets the credit, autographs, or even a network interview, he never misses a single shift in his job and he’s trying his best, not to mention I think he also represents of what Hanna Barbera has gone through. They did try their best to work through the cheapness and give the characters a lot of personality but to now with Warner Bros. They’re not getting the right treatment of what they want and I would say Stevie definitely fits for the new generation of the show, it’s kind of like one of those Human characters like officer dibble or ranger smith characters that are doing their jobs and keeping those characters out of trouble like with Top Cat or Yogi Bear. So even tho I like a few of these ideas that doesn’t mean I’m defending the horror film, some of the ideas could work for a new generation for the show when I have the rights to them, the rest of the film should be thrown in the garbage, I mean sure I may be trying to make a movie of the splits and the show but at least I have a reason for it having only four films and their show back, and for the other Hanna Barbera Characters I may have a hard time trying to learn more about them and understand their characters but at least they’ll be treated better then what Warner Bros. Did, and so what if I do recycle some things from The Banana Splits bull crap movie and from JellyStone. Me and my friends will figure out what we can do with them and put most of them to good use once we save up and buy the rights from Warner bros once and for all. What the most confusing- They are robots/animatronics but they run and dance like humans- Like tbh a plot of a group of serial killers killing the original actors and taking their outfits would have made more sense- And the reason this exist it was supposed to be the FNAF movie but Scott hated the script and left so warner bros decided to just use characters instead just making new characters that could have been inspired the original banana splits
The Fnaf movie would’ve been awful if it was like The Banana Splits Movie. And the reason the Fnaf movie took so long to get out is because it needed to be perfected. I don’t think anyone would like the Fnaf movie if it was like The Banana Splits Movie.

and thats not all. i stepped across a video about robot horror movies unfortunately. and when they mentioned the banana splits they said that warner bros were originally going to make the fnaf movie but the creator of the game didn't like to script so he transferred it to blumhhouse studios. and warner bros didn't want to have a script lying around and decide to make a movie about it with one of their properties. the banana splits were the unlucky pick.
That's a good thing that you rant the movie, because I agree with you. This is what the director and the movie deserves, because this should be that the movie never existed. They should be making a Banana Splits animated movie made by Warner Animation Group, Hanna-Barbera Cartoons, Centropolis Entertainment, and Temple Hill Productions, instead of that stupid horror Banana Splits movie made by Blue Ribbon Content, and Blue Ice Films.

I hate this crappy movie too higbee, Because originally Warner Bros wanted to adapt Scott Cawthorn’s iconic video game franchise Five Nights at Freddy’s into film, but they’ve lost the rights (Due to creative differences). So instead they deliberately made one of their beloved kid-friendly characters from their acquired Hanna Barbara characters the banana splits including the bingo the orangutan, drooper the lion, snorky the elephant and fleegle the beagle and turned them Into R-rated horror murderous robots and it premiered on SYFY. Also despite the film receiving generally positive reviews from critics, the film had been panned by many Hanna Barbara/Banana Splits angry fans of the original show and its 2008 reboot. I’ve been a fan of these guys as well when I was 3 yrs old and I hated the film, it was awful and I had nightmares from it and it ruined everyone’s childhood and received a lot of controversy ever since. Warner Bros would later on do the same turn-kid-friendly character into R-rated character concept to Velma Dinkley from Scooby-Doo for HBO Max (Which by the way the show premiered earlier this year on January 12th) and it’s shockingly bad, unfunny, boring and gross. Hell in 2003 Spike TV did the same mistake to Nickelodeon’s own family-friendly iconic characters, the comedic chihuahua dog and manx cat duo Ren and Stimpy into r-rated characters as well in that crappy show called “Adult Party Cartoon”.

Well it was because the Banana Splits fandom is such a toxic hellhole they would most likely get mad at me for saying that I hated it. I can’t believe I’m about to say this but I think this movie is worse than Wreck It Ralph 2 and Chuck E. Cheese in the Galaxy 5000. I hate those movies so much. I hate them with a burning passion. One time I saw a video from the hbo max cartoon called jellystone in which the banana splits were trying to steal money from the bow tie store. At first I wonder why they are now bad guys but now that I have seen this video I now know that it's because of the banana splits 2019 movie 😒
For the record, yes this film from 2019 really blows from start to finish. It's nothing but a FNAF rip off which makes more sense that Universal created their own FNAF movie for October 2023!!! But taking the Banana Splits and re invent theme as creepy, it's down right insulting. The script is basic as wonder bread, the acting is barely wooden, the twists are predicable, the character costumes look real bad as melted ice cream, and the ending is garbage. The only good thing coming out of the film is that new guy voicing bingo, fleegle and drooper. But either way, maybe there's a reason why WB treats the HB properties very harshly. For one, Scoob to Velma are an embarrassment, the WWE crossovers miss the mark, and those hybrid features are cringe!!! Everything is never kind at WB discovery 😤😤😤

I liked the PERFORMANCE of the crazy inventor dude. It doesn't make sense that a probable DOUBLE TO TRIPLE BOOMER is doin' all this robotics and computer shit on his own, PLUS he goes on to ACT like he planned it, but the character we FIRST meet wouldn't do that on purpose, and in fact we're never even SHOWN that he actively does anything to cause it himself. Yet halfway through he suddenly goes insane for literally no reason and is claiming this was his plan. Yeah, the WRITING bites monkey shit, but his PERFORMANCE is actually good.

and thats not all. i stepped across a video about robot horror movies unfortunately. and when they mentioned the banana splits they said that warner bros were originally going to make the fnaf movie but the creator of the game didn't like to script so he transferred it to blumhhouse studios. and warner bros didn't want to have a script lying around and decide to make a movie about it with one of their properties. the banana splits were the unlucky pick.

That's a good thing that you rant the movie, because I agree with you. This is what the director and the movie deserves, because this should be that the movie never existed. They should be making a Banana Splits animated movie made by Warner Animation Group, Hanna-Barbera Cartoons, Centropolis Entertainment, and Temple Hill Productions, instead of that stupid horror Banana Splits movie made by Blue Ribbon Content, and Blue Ice Films.

I hate this crappy movie too higbee, Because originally Warner Bros wanted to adapt Scott Cawthorn’s iconic video game franchise Five Nights at Freddy’s into film, but they’ve lost the rights (Due to creative differences). So instead they deliberately made one of their beloved kid-friendly characters from their acquired Hanna Barbara characters the banana splits including the bingo the orangutan, drooper the lion, snorky the elephant and fleegle the beagle and turned them Into R-rated horror murderous robots and it premiered on SYFY. Also despite the film receiving generally positive reviews from critics, the film had been panned by many Hanna Barbara/Banana Splits angry fans of the original show and its 2008 reboot. I’ve been a fan of these guys as well when I was 3 yrs old and I hated the film, it was awful and I had nightmares from it and it ruined everyone’s childhood and received a lot of controversy ever since. Warner Bros would later on do the same turn-kid-friendly character into R-rated character concept to Velma Dinkley from Scooby-Doo for HBO Max (Which by the way the show premiered earlier this year on January 12th) and it’s shockingly bad, unfunny, boring and gross. Hell in 2003 Spike TV did the same mistake to Nickelodeon’s own family-friendly iconic characters, the comedic chihuahua dog and manx cat duo Ren and Stimpy into r-rated characters as well in that crappy show called “Adult Party Cartoon”.

Thank you so much Dre for making this! I agree with everything you said! Back when I used to be in the Banana Splits community I secretly hated the movie. Why did I not say anything? Well it was because the Banana Splits fandom is such a toxic hellhole they would most likely get mad at me for saying that I hated it. I can’t believe I’m about to say this but I think this movie is worse than Wreck It Ralph 2 and Chuck E. Cheese in the Galaxy 5000. I hate those movies so much. I hate them with a burning passion. But after I saw this movie I think this one is worse than those two movies combined. This movie pisses me off so much. This has to be the worst movie I have ever seen in my life. For the record, yes this film from 2019 really blows from start to finish. It's nothing but a FNAF rip off which makes more sense that Universal created their own FNAF movie for October 2023!!! But taking the Banana Splits and re invent theme as creepy, it's down right insulting. The script is basic as wonder bread, the acting is barely wooden, the twists are predicable, the character costumes look real bad as melted ice cream, and the ending is garbage. The only good thing coming out of the film is that new guy voicing bingo, fleegle and drooper. But either way, maybe there's a reason why WB treats the HB properties very harshly. For one, Scoob to Velma are an embarrassment, the WWE crossovers miss the mark, and those hybrid features are cringe!!! Everything is never kind at WB discovery 😤😤😤

It doesn't make sense that a probable DOUBLE TO TRIPLE BOOMER is doin' all this robotics and computer shit on his own, PLUS he goes on to ACT like he planned it, but the character we FIRST meet wouldn't do that on purpose, and in fact we're never even SHOWN that he actively does anything to cause it himself.
Yet halfway through he suddenly goes insane for literally no reason and is claiming this was his plan.
