I picked up about 30 records from Forever Young. I live less than a mile away from the store. I use to go into this store almost weekly (from 2006-2010) until i found out i could buy records online and pay less in most cases. I bought a good amount of hard to find, out of print CD's or maxi singles, eps and live albums over the years. Haven't set foot in the store since about May of 2017. Staff that ive dealt with were very kind, friendly and helpful. I have never bought a record from FY that was unplayable or looked like junk. Highly recommend supporting your local record shop! Great video!
There're 1000's of pre-recorded cassettes on Gumtree London UK and all used/tested tapes are guaranteed, price researched so the cheapest and UK postage is free when you spend £15! Pop, Classical, etc, are on offer.
amazing!!! If I there right now, I will buying beatles collection and rolling stones, eagles, eric clapton, deep purple, eric clapton, miles davis and a lot music....
That really takes me back. I live in Cleveland now but spent the first 43 years of my life in Tx. and have been going to Forever Young since the 1980s. I miss browsing through that place. Well done.
Please do a current update video of this amazing store. The store , is it still thete??there??? I love ❤️ cassetes.I wonder how much they charge per cassette at that store??What's the stores name and can you buy from them online??
Please make a update video and show some of the cassettes up close.Ive noticed cassettes are coming back more and more.I like cassettes because they are easy to store. Thanks for sharing ur video.
You remember that store better than I do. I would have loved to hire you back in the day Lj. We would have had some amazing memorable times. Plus you would have had an ever better cassette collection than you do now. On second thought, you could probably open up your own store with your collection. ~ Rob
Forever Young Records looks like the old record store that I used to work in John., Amazing inventory. Where are all the shoppers? Thanks, you find them all~ Rob/Boston
get a tape player, very cheap on amazon...I have around 1,000 home made mix tapes I made, and 100's of factory made tape...I used to buy most of the UK Import cassette singles that came out in the '80's,they would have live and unreleased songs on them...still play them daily
Wow I wish Ny had a store like that! ..Do you know if they have any cassette singles? I started collecting them as a kid in the mid 90s and managed to find a lot from the 80's as well. I miss browsing for cassettes :(
I'm in the UK and one of my cassettes is actually from here. Granted ordering from them on Discogs isn't the same as going to America and physically going to this shop :P

I would guess around 2 Million or very close to it. Wait for a second! more like ~ 300,000. It would take me a month to go through all of those and find the best ones.
I used to loose all patience watching the new clerks struggling for what seemed like an eternity to get the security case off. Never once did I think how crummy a job it must have been to put them on. Hindsight being 20/20, I suppose switching them all over from the 12" long ones to the newer short form must have been an overnight nightmare. I am so sorry. - Lj/HopingAll'sWell
To look at everything in there you would need to be forever young or you would be drawing your pension by the time you came out. I wouldn't even know where to start.
Good Lord, that place is huge! Are they still in business? That has got to be the biggest inventory of cassettes I've ever seen! I'm surprised they have such a huge stock of them, considering how hard it is to find a retail outlet that sells tape players in this day and age.
the only music format worth buying is pre recorded or master reel to reel tapes, you can download the rest, vinyl in no way compares to reel to reel tape unless you're buying it for collector value.
wow..I would spend all day shopping that place.
Do they sell any blank cassettes?
I would goto texas just for that store.
I'm going in couple of weeks

The last one I bought was an import for $4.98 .
I like that the entrance to that store looks like an old juke box.

I'll never enter this shop because I'll find difficult to leave.
I rarely pay more than $1 for a cassette, unless it's one I've really wanted to add to my collection
Feels like the 1980's and 1990's again.
His garage looks like my living room...but my collection is VHS
