Still at 94, my feet are keeping time tapping away. I miss the auld times playing the drums with the "John McClaren Scottish dance band."
For timing and lilt there was no one to equal him. Self taught and straight from the heart. Modest and natural, the best!
Great band AM sadly passed on but left some great west coast with us all RIP ALAN

Have got both of his CD's.And on one of them Maurice Duncan is on fiddle.Can check it,but don't have the material at hand.An experienced band,but if I remember rightly,sadly...also Alan MacIntosh is not with us any more.
