This video was so fascinating. It's amazing how when we watch music videos they're only like 3-4 mins long, but behind it is SOO much hard work and time! This was super awesome. Gonna go watch the MV now!
I watched this back when it first came out and recently found them again. I looked at the date this came out, and I realized these videos must have been very influential/inspiring for me because just a couple of months later I made the decision to go to Taiwan for a year to study Mandarin. A lot of things added up to help me make that (what seemed at the time) very scary decision, but seeing Americans in Taiwan and how everything was new and cool to them would have been so impactful on me. At the time I was in grade 12, and trying to decide where I wanted my life to go. I had university plans lined up, but instead took a year off in order to travel to Taiwan. I've since been back many times, lived there for 2 years, and it's become a huge part of my identity. I don't know if it's possible measure how much Wong Fu helped shape my life, but I can't thank you guys enough!

As an ABC myself, he's an individual I look up to because his music work made me embrace my Chinese heritage.
