- The Dale Mining District was one of the productive gold mining towns in California for many years. Today it is one of the most visited ghost towns in the state. There are 288 abandoned mining sites with 747 mine openings and in the 1870’s-1930s gold was the commodity of greatest interest. Join us as we travel the next 2 days in search of abandoned gold mines.

Possibly. I was the blue truck in the vid and I had to give it some gas to make it up. The ruts are pretty deep too. And its super sandy.
