    Hi! Thank you so much for this video! Do you know if it is necessary to add 2021 Tax Info? I don't know where can I get that document (and I got my refund for the last year, but I'm an international student, so I'm sure where all the paper work comes from). Thanks for any advice!

      I’ve honestly never tried it without entering it. Try and see if TurboTax requires it or not. If they do, you can go here to get a transcript of your taxes from last year:

    I owe taxes and selected the direct debit option to pay them. I want to pay the products and services with a credit card. Do you know how to do that? Will it automatically charge the products and services to my bank account since I selected direct debit for the other payments?

    • @everydaywithbecca
      @everydaywithbecca  7 місяців тому

      You can do this by selecting “pay by check”. So you’d pay TurboTax online with your debited card, and then select “pay by check” when it comes to paying your taxes.
      After that, you’ll use the payment voucher to pay by check, or go to the IRS website and pay by debit card or bank account.

    Hi! Does it give us a place to upload our W-2's? Is a W-2 required before submitting?

    • @everydaywithbecca
      @everydaywithbecca  Рік тому

      You don’t have to upload anything. He upload feature is for your benefit. You should keep your hard or electronic records on hand in case you need to mail them in or are audited.

    How does renting affect your taxes? We’re in Oklahoma.

    • @everydaywithbecca
      @everydaywithbecca  2 роки тому

      I couldn’t find a good list of tax breaks for Oklahoma online, but if you received a CRP form or form for real estate taxes paid, it does look like Oklahoma refunds a portion of property taxes. This should be located somewhere in the state section of your taxes (after federal).

    What the difference if do the classic instead of simply free , they offer you the earned income credit for singles right ?

    • @everydaywithbecca
      @everydaywithbecca  2 роки тому +2

      They have various different credits that you could qualify for-with each upgrade, TurboTax works harder to find extra deductions and credits for you to increase your refund.

    Can I claim the sick leave on it? For the American rescue act?

    • @everydaywithbecca
      @everydaywithbecca  2 роки тому

      I haven’t tried it myself, but you can search in Taxalayer for “ARPA” and see if it comes up that way. This tax change includes a few different things like the recovery rebates as well as sick leave.

    Hi this my 1st time,to claim a tax a already file this January 24,but I want to amend cause I want to add my another W2 on my fast jobs this 2021 when or how can I do that ?

    • @everydaywithbecca
      @everydaywithbecca  2 роки тому

      Go into TurboTax, and open your files returns. On the 2021 return, there should be an “amend” option. Click that and then get started adding your other W2. Good luck! 😊

    • @everydaywithbecca

      Yes! They will show you as you move along in creating your filing. As long as everything is correct, the amount shown should be what you get back.

    I have tried 3 different tax sites to file our taxes. I have done our taxes for about 20 years now. We have never owed State taxes back…until this year. Nothing has changed as far as jobs go. I’m confused as to why we owe state now ( jobs have changed but income is still very comparable) No site will explain why we are paying back this year.

    • @everydaywithbecca
      @everydaywithbecca  2 роки тому

      I’d check your state taxes and the credits that you qualify for-the laws may have changed, or even a small amount of income may have pushed you into a new tax bracket. Also, the W4 for MN changed in the last few years-this May be the case for you/your state and how your taxes were taken out?

    You're hot.. Sorry off topic..😅. Nice video. This will be the first year I'm doing my taxes on my own. Tired of paying accountants to do my simple work. LOL. Also the reason why your state wasn't free is because there's a limit that you can make per year on tax layer in order to be eligible for free state returns.

    • @everydaywithbecca
      @everydaywithbecca  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the insight Tim-that does make a lot of sense in terms of the state filing.

    22:03 what does the “payments” mean ? does it have to do with the “total tax”? like is one what you actually payed and the other is what you owed? meaning you only payed X off your total payment ? im confused sorry 🥲

    • @everydaywithbecca
      @everydaywithbecca  Рік тому +1

      Sorry for the late reply! I didn’t see this until today. Payments refers to what you have paid so far that year towards your total taxes due. If you underpaid, then you will owe taxes. If you over paid, then you will get a refund.
