    How would you feel about a return to only the champions of each nation qualifying?

      It would bring a bit more diversity but lots of the big teams would miss out and only around like 5 countries would ever be in contention

      I think it would be good, but a lot of teams would miss out so it might be a bit errrgh.

      That would be good and bad at the same time. I like this idea but imagine the San Marino champions facing the Premier League champion. This match would end 51-0

      The Welsh league just isn’t big enough for the clubs to challenge for the Champions League and attract the brilliant players, that’s why I think they should start merging the English and Welsh leagues. I know it would be hard but if they could work out how it would work that would be brilliant for Welsh teams because there’s no limit to how far they can go.

      @@PorterStats Whole heartedly disagree. Wales needs further investment into its own league. Over time it should aspire to climb coefficient rankings and match themselves with other similarly sized (population) competitive European nations. This would be a long-term goal.
      To merge all Welsh clubs into England’s footballing pyramid would put the entire Welsh national team and football association into disrepute.
      I believe the Welsh footballing pyramid could be improved overnight by founding 2/3 new clubs to represent large population areas whose teams play in the EFL. These new clubs would be smaller and far more affordable for fans, and perhaps act as affiliate clubs to their larger, EFL equivalents (e.g. A “Swansea County FC” within the Welsh pyramid to neighbour the Swansea City AFC of the English pyramid). A similar set up exists in Canada, with 2 or more clubs from one city/region representing themselves in the MLS in the U.S. and CFL in Canada.

      Man United will hope that "sister clubs" Man City and Liverpool bail them out by progressing deep in Europe.

      @@EmsionProductionsSorry for taking so long to respond. But I honestly agree, I only suggested a merge due to the fact that I personally don’t see that big of an investment.

    i'm so excited for our league's future
    11th in the coefficient is insane
    i haven't seen the league be this relevant in so long
    we used to hover around 27 - 30

    Does anybody know about the points right now? It seems like only getting into UCL gives you 6 bonus points.. I really wanna know the new system

    Ooohhh fuck i should have went to conference league with my club so i can take more points in FM 24. Instead i qualified for CL which i got 4 points but in Conference i have more chances of winnings the games. Is this smart or i am missing something?

    I don’t underestimate this at all. If they offered him 1.3 billion tax free dollars why didn’t he just go to Saudi for three years and then go buy a MLS club for around 500-700 million? Instead he teases a 50-70 million a year salary and just a small stake in the club. Makes no sense unless the Saudi deals are being exaggerated massively

    • @ryanergo754
      @ryanergo754 Рік тому +4

      Mostly cause he didnt want to play in Saudi. He also a good relationship with Beckham.

    • @johndurrer7869
      @johndurrer7869 Рік тому

      @@ryanergo754 If Beckham was truly his friend he would’ve told him to go to Saudis. It’s 1.3 billion for only 3 years! He is so incredible that he probably could’ve gotten another 600 million 2 year deal after that 3 year deal would’ve ended. These MLS franchises will one day be worth as much as NBA, NFL and MLB franchises are today, which are by far the richest franchise in the world with 85% of the top 50 clubs in the world. If he just used 500-600 million of that 1.3 billion to buy an MLS club he would one day own 100% of a franchise that will eventually be worth 4-5 billion in todays money. Instead he signed a deal for 200 million and a small stake in Inter Miami

    • @ilijastrainovic3141
      @ilijastrainovic3141 Рік тому +1

      @mjonesmotorsports because new UCL format that will be implied in UEL UECL next season there will be 36 teams in UCL so and 2 top leagues (England and Spain) will get extra spot so this season in Prem top 5 go to champions league 6 and 7 to europa and 8th in confrence league unless someone bellow 8th place win cup

    • @HCunha
      @HCunha 11 місяців тому +1

      @@ilijastrainovic3141 if that happens only 7 teams can go to the european tournaments. 1-5 to UCL 6-7 to UEL. In 2020-21 LaLiga sent 5 teams to the UCL and 2 to UEL (because Villarreal won the UEL in the season before)
      UEFA allows the association to have a maximum of 7 teams in the European Competitions
