La Ilustre y Venerable Hermandad de la Orden de Santo Domingo de Guzmán de Nuestro Padre Jesús de la Humillación y Perdón y María Santísima de la Estrella es una hermandad de la Semana Santa malagueña, fundada en 1919. Se incorporó a la Agrupación de Cofradías en 1924 y tiene su sede canónica en la Iglesia parroquial de San Carlos y Santo Domingo de Guzmán en pleno barrio de El Perchel.
La cofradía fue fundada el 17 junio de 1919, en la parroquia de San Carlos y Santo Domingo de Guzmán. Su primer titular fue un Cristo atado a la Columna, que recibia culto en la parroquia de Santo Domingo junto a Santa María Magdalena y de los que existe constancia documental de la salida procesional de amos en 1893. Desde la fundación la Hermandad decide representar el desprecio de Herodes. En 1926 la columna fue suprimida y el Cristo fue revestido con una túnica blanca, añadiéndose un grupo escultórico para representar dicho pasaje evangélico.
Tras los sucesos acometidos el 11 y 12 de mayo de 1931, la Hermandad perdió no sólo gran parte de su patrimonio, sino que además no consiguió salvar al titular de la misma. El trono y algunos enseres pudieron ser salvador gracias a la labor altruista de José Benítez Oliver. Una vez finalizada la Guerra Civil, la Hermandad vuelve a retomar su actividad en 1939.
Saliendo de nuevo en procesión el Martes Santo de 1941. Este mismo año se nombra a la Orden de Predicadores Hermano Mayor Honorario y se incluye en el título a la Virgen de la Estrella. Dicha primitiva imagen mariana pertenecía a la familia Souvirón que la cedía cada Martes Santo, retornando al culto particular el resto del año. En marzo de 1942, se bendijo la imagen actual de Jesús de la Humillación, obra del imaginero Francisco Palma Burgos.
En 1946, tras una serie de avatares, procesionaría por primera vez, la actual imagen mariana de la Virgen de la Estrella, haciéndolo así hasta la actualidad. En la década de los años 60, el Cristo comenzó a procesionar junto a un grupo escultórico, que fue suprimido por su escaso valor artístico en 1997, con el fin de poder realizar un nuevo grupo escultórico de acorde al momento que representa.
The Illustrious and Venerable Brotherhood of the Order of Santo Domingo de Guzman of Our Father Jesus of Humiliation and Forgiveness and Holy Mary of the Star is a brotherhood of Holy Week in Málaga, founded in 1919. Leaving again in procession on Holy Tuesday 1941. This same year the Order of Preachers was named Honorary Big Brother and the Virgen de la Estrella was included in the title. Said primitive Marian image belonged to the Souvirón family that gave it away every Holy Tuesday, returning to private worship the rest of the year. In March 1942, the current image of Jesus of Humiliation, the work of the image maker Francisco Palma Burgos, was blessed.
In 1946, after a series of vicissitudes the current Marian image of the Virgen de la Estrella would procession for the first time, and it continues to this day. In the 1960s, the Christ began to process along with a sculptural group, which was suppressed in 1997 due to its low artistic value, in order to be able to create a new sculptural group according to the moment it represents.
