- Today I'm setting up another 5 different 5 minute bullet journal weekly spreads. So many people say that they couldn't possibly bullet journal because it takes too much time to set up layouts. Looking for inspiration on social media, I can understand why some people feel that way; a lot of spreads are beautifully elaborate and did likely take quite a while to set up. Today though, I'm focusing on the quick and simple weekly layouts that can still look pretty damn visually appealing 😄

I would love to see 10/20 minute spread ideas! Every time you pressed the timer, my heart started racing. Reminded me of timed tests in school which I was never very good at.😜
Love seeing different types of layouts as it's highly inspiring. I don't really need the time restriction, as I set up weeks in advance as part of my creative outlet during regen time (self care for regenerating energy as I'm prone to spend more than I gain). However I appreciate that other people do 😊

I love this! I gave up bullet journalling after having a kid and having no time to continue in my style, but no other planner is the same!
I would love to see longer times for spreads too! I really like the vertical spread! This was quite exciting!!
I see myself using something similar to the washi tape page as that is my type of “decoration “. Loved the Dutch door too.

I think the most time consuming thing about making new spreads is coming up with the idea of it. My spreads usually do not take much time but i think more than an hour when i have to decide what to do...

Please do something similar for ten or twenty minute videos. I love your channel and your artwork. I watch your videos frequently, especially when I’m feeling anxious or burnt out with my own bullet journal.

Great videos! I’d love to see some 10/20 minute set ups! I really liked the Dutch door page the best as my weeks tend to include more tracking and not as many tasks.
I loved all 5 spreads! Idc what you say you are the Queen of 5 minute spreads. Pre COVID 19 I would often struggle to setup my weeklies. I love how you are able to quickly come up with these ideas. You're A Pro👍✨

Yeah 😅 maybe partially on purpose so you can’t see how janky my brush lettering is 😂 haha 💜
would be cool to see some more different lengths of weekly or monthly setups I'm keen for a 20 min a 10 min and a half hour one then we can see some of the range of really different things that can be done :) how much did your Tombows cost you in NZ dollars? because I'm looking at getting some but the packs I can see are like $700 us dollars plus shipping and honestly I don't have a spare $100 dollars at the moment but the five colours I have a getting old like really old. :)
When I get my replacement Tombows at Gordon Harris (when I've used them too much and they're dried out; doesn't happen often!) they've been ~$6-7 per pen (depending on when I got them). You can also get the 10 packs there, and they were ~$60-70 but I bought the 96 set a few years ago for a couple/few hundred dollars (was quite a while ago now so can't remember the full amount 😅)
Certainly wasn't $700 though, I wouldn't be able to justify that 😅

I love the content, but I have to say that it gives me a little anxiety when that timer is about to go off! LOL thanks for sharing the ideas! Oh and an idea may be to do the same 5 minute layout, but then do a 10 minute with the same layout but elevate it, then maybe a 15 minute and again elevated, etc. I absolutely feel that the weekends deserve the same amount of real estate as the rest of the week, after all our work week isn’t the only part of our lives we plan, right? Thanks again! Videos are very well done!

What advice do you have for rookies or beginners
Well I'm very much a drive-in-head-first kind of person, but I know that isn't for everyone 😅 If that's you though, the advice would be ~*TRY ALL THE THINGS*~ but if it isn't, then it's a good idea to take it one page at a time 😋
The biggest pieces of advice though would be "don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle". I know when I started I got really down on myself because my layouts didn't look the way that the ones on Instagram/UA-cam/etc. did, but with time and practice things have gotten a lot better 😅😊💜
That bright yellow is a little bit hard to see. Bright colors in general. Could just be my screen. Awesome video and ideas though! Thanks!
