Thank you, Fitsum. The presentation was brief and straightforward. However, I am not clear about the difference between add new parameter and importing new parameter.
Hi sir, Thanks a lot for this valuable and very good video tutorial. Please also make a video tutorial for Landuse change scenario in SWAT. Kind Regards Naveed
Thanks for this valuable video. I calibrated the SWAT model as you instructed with 8 parameters using daily flow data for 500 simulations. I checked the Goals.txt and the Summary_stat.txt file of Calibration Outputs, but the best simulation number was 1 and new calibrated parameters did not exist. Am I have to change Objective function or do you have an idea on this problem? Please give me your comment for improving the SWAT-CUP performances. Thanks

Thank you sir for the video, please, will you do sensitivity analysis first before you do calibration, or calibration before sensitivity analysis. I am really confused, i read the swat cup manual several times yet i am confused. Also how is the sensitivity analysis done in the swat cup. Do you do the sensitivity analysis separately or it is done during the calibration. I am new to swat cup and where i am no one is using the model, that will explain things to me. I really need a help.Thank you.
In Swat-Cup you do sensitivity analysis during the calibration process, there is an output option to check the sensitive parameters using p and t- values below calibration output for further please refer the following document particularly page 59: www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjT0uLtnJ_hAhWMsKQKHdzxCDgQFjACegQIBBAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fswat.tamu.edu%2Fmedia%2F114860%2Fusermanual_swatcup.pdf&usg=AOvVaw0vDCT8jBH2c1OIZdbt03Bs
@@Dr.Fitsum_Teshome Thank you very much sir, so does it mean that after each iteration i have to go to the output option and find out which parameter is sensitive. Am i right or wrong.
Thank you sir, please so if i have to rank my parameters in terms of sensitivity, does it mean that my ranking have to come from the global sensitivity output of the iteration that gives me the best result? eg if my p-factor, R-factor and the objective function are okay in the fourth iteration, i have to go to the global sensitivity output of the fourth iteration and do the ranking of the parameters based on the t-stat and p-value. Am i right?

Hey, Thanks for the video. It is very helpful for learning SWAT_CUP. I wanted to know that while entering the observed data of discharge, the data should be entered from starting year of simulation or after subtracting the warm period?
