- Maruti Suzuki has launched the XL6 S-CNG, expanding on its already large CNG portfolio. Priced at ₹12.24 lakh (ex-showroom, India), and only available in the entry-level Zeta trim, the XL6 CNG costs ₹95,000 more than its equivalent petrol variant. The XL6 CNG and Baleno CNG are the first two models from the Nexa line-up to be offered with factory-fitted CNG kit.
Like the updated Ertiga CNG, the XL6 CNG is powered by a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine, which makes 88hp and 121.5Nm in CNG mode and 101hp and 136Nm in petrol mode. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and in this CNG version, it does not get the option of a 6-speed automatic that is offered on the petrol-only XL6. Maruti Suzuki claims that the XL6 CNG offers a fuel-efficiency figure of 26.32km/kg.

I have Ertiga Cng it's mileage in cng is not more then 20 kmpl. And on highway the buyer of cng not getting cng above 200 of pressure. In my view diesel is best
Just a quick thought....on Highway the mileage is always good anyways....y u require CNG.....CNG can make sense for daily use in City drive....diesel does not make sense with so much uncertainty around it on its future

मेरे पास पीछे 10 साल से company fitted car है cng car lene ka ab koi fyada nahi bcoz petrol or cng both fuel price aprox equal hai
बस mileage cng mein thoda jyada hoti hai
अगर आपकी every month 1000 से ऊपर ट्रैवल हो तो
तब भी cng 1lakh km ke baad problem karne लगती है

I'm buying Zeta AT in this month and I would go for CNG only with AT but MS doesn't offer it for now. Also, I didn't find Kia Carens VFM at all, Zeta AT's way better in everything except power. Also, two dealers I've talked to said they will provide a Rear view camera without any extra cost when delivering the car so it's not a miss.
I've driven the Aplha+ and it's 360 cam was more of a gimmick than useful, the image distorts so much near the body that it doesn't serve its main purpose of showing objects near the body, very unclear.
Zeta is a value for money trim. 👍

Why is MARUTI not bringing cng in automatic versions, for senior citizen ,now automatic cars have become necessity rather then luxury. Kindly can you convey this to MARUTI
It's little difficult to manage the gear shifting automatically in CNG and also it becomes really costly compared to the non CNG automatic cars.

My monthly drive is about 1500kms
I have used a company fitted CNG wagon r for 5 years and converted my Tiago AMT to CNG aftermarket because it is not worth to waste ur hard earned money on fuel. There is nominal extra maintenance for CNG vehicles. If you go by a service book then you won't have any problems for 15 yrs also. Go for a company fitted CNG maruti car only no other brands like Hyundai or Tata 👍
