- Tomato rasam is made fresh from scratch. Dice tomatoes into big chunks and boil them with little seasonings until soft. Once they are softened, mash it into fine pure. Add Indian or Italian herbs to your liking. Temper them.
Tomato dish is a great side with Rice, Idli, Dosa or Upma. With a little milder spice level you can just enjoy it plain like a tomato soup with a crunchy croutons of baked/Boiled Beans.
