Dear Joan, I just love this project. The framed bunny looks gorgeous and I love how you mixed up a colour that picks up the colour of his jacket, it pulls the whole picture together - brilliant! And the way you used clear wax over the canvas and the clay moulding of the frame, before painting it with the green colour so you could take off as much of the paint as you wanted, was absolutely brilliant too. I've never seen that done before, but what a great idea. I've seen lots of crafters use clear wax under dark wax, but not under paint, so now I'm definitely going to try this myself. Thank you so much for this wonderful video. Love from Amanda Jones in Australia ❤
You are my favorite creator to watch!!!! Thank you so much for all your inspiration!!! I am so excited to see more uploading on UA-cam. It is much easier to watch and rewind and all on here versus Facebook. BUT...I will watch you create anywhere! Thank you again so much for sharing and for all your inspiration!
Lovely! 😃Just an FYI...The bunny image is actually a girl...it's taken from an 18th Century painting of a woman and someone added a bunny head for a touch of whimsy..The "jacket" is actually the bodice of a gown with a stomacher in the center and bows with "engageanté" ruffles at the elbows...just thought you would like to know 😉
I need tissue! I really enjoy your creations! IOD, breaks my heart cause everything was "out of stock " 💔 I watch you, with molds that ive tried to get, but never went "in Stock"! Lol. Teases us to see good molds that we can't get. You've created a beautiful picture on today's video.
Great video Joanie! I have it all and I'm ready to begin. That color on her dress matches my decor here and I was going to use Dixie Belle's Vintage Duck Egg paint but now I'm thinking I should buy that wax too. Was it shipwrecked?
I am new at using IOD products and LOVE them, but don’t really know how to use them. I need HELP! I’ve seen some of the items you have made. They are beautiful. I understand you have a private group. Could you please tell me how to join. Thanks so much. Kathleen

Hi Debbie! I actually painted the canvas white a white paint, then clear waxed it. I then used a wax called Shipwrecked that is the blue/green color. www.weatheredwings.com/product/diy-paint-verdigras-wax-shipwrecked/
It's great how you demonstrated your miter ! Love your way of doing it.
Thank you Denise! So glad it was helpful!🙂

Thanks so much! I know it’s frustrating! Hopefully they will be back in stock soon!!
Won't the airdry clay shrink away from the other pieces?
Maybe a tiny bit? I sometimes will add a little “beaded mould” along the crease just in case and that looks really nice. Great question!❤️
That you for the mitre tip! Great video!
Thank you so much!
Adorable great job!!!
Thank you Darlene!
