Stephen was known for having a great sense of humor. I'm glad he has been immortalized like this.

He had such a brilliant brain. Despite his terrible illness, he still could work as a scientist, wrote many books, which I have read.
He has gone into the universe and carries on with his scientific work !

My dad was a physicist who worked at Oxford University and once he travelled to Cambridge where he met Mr Hawking and confirmed his sense of humour.

@@CordeliaWagner Or maybe he just really owned his disability in a way that many of us would be unable to do. This sketch just disproves many peoples stereotypes of disability. Reality is that I lived in Cambridge and contrary to this sketch, I used to see Hawking out and about without a single carer in sight and this was not always in the most populated areas either.

There’s a great story of when Professor Hawkings was on Star Trek (as himself). When they were giving him a tour of the set and got to the warp core, he said: “I’m working on one of those”.

Shame he missed one of his "claims" of achievements, made a record with pink Floyd, and what a record, "keep talking" and also appeared and regularly referenced on big bang theory, rip to an absolute legend.
I think when he was diagnosed, doctors gave him until 26. Birthday or something like that. I absolute hate the phrase, but here I am writing it: "What an inspirational guy"

I`m a comedian, and I never make fun of handicapped people. The only reason, this bit worked, is because Stephen Hawking himself, was in it. It`s just so beautiful, that a man, trapped in his own body, still contained " Self Irony ", despite being the victim, of one of the most horrible afflictions, that can befall a Human Being. The World could learn a lot from Stephen Hawking...........now more that ever.............. R.I.P....Mate........
