@@austint4521 generally speaking. Proportion wise those dudes in the video are bigger. A short person with the same weight as a tall person will look bigger
I like the way you phrased it. They were more open to different information, not that they necessarily used it. And that would make sense. It's something they can try out to see if it's better for them, and the more stuff they try, the more they can find what fits them best.
Yep. Always remember, in many areas of exercise and nutrition, the science stays 10 years behind what we actually know. As an example, talk to any high level pro BBer, they’ll be able to tell you muscular activation can be achieved on either end of the muscle connection. I.E. you can do a dumbbell curl where the focus is where the bicep meets the shoulder, or where the bicep meets the forearm. For decades, science told us this was false while bodybuilders told us it was true. Then Ben Pakulski ends up proving it’s true when he teams up with a university science team who examines HIS muscles while doing the lift. Turns out, they’d never tested this on a pro BBer, only on average Joes who barely even workout. The bodybuilding community was ahead of the science by about 80 years.
Very awesome approach. I'm impressed vanity is not in that gym...glad people are open to suggestions. I've been lifting for almost three years one thing I've learned is everyone has the own idea for doing something. You have to find what works best...found your shorts very interesting.
Now my fav UA-camrs are not only talking about Kendrick Lamar beef, but now they using his beats for their shorts 😭. I’m honestly happy cause Kendrick my 2nd fav rapper of all time.
the biggest guys have taken inspiration from a number of different people and try out many different methods to find what is optimal that’s why they are open to new ideas
People who are at the top are usually there for a reason. They put aside their ego and have nothing to prove so are happy to hear advice and keep learning. Reminds me of the video of GSP, one of the best MMA fighters ever eagerly learning how to kick better from Joe Rogan.
I've been workout out on and off for 10 years. More ON than off tho... I still learn new things to this day. I know alot comparing from day 1 but every now and then I learn better things. And this dude is one of the reasons....
I see some good points by Jeff, he is showing them how to keep the weight aimed toward more stress on the muscle. You can see the difference in growing better vs just barely growing or hitting a plateau? I have used more isometric or angled my muscle to put more weight on my muscles is better than adding more weight on the bar or rack.
Well, the problem is 99% of the time they don't, they don't know how they got there themselves, at best they might get you from where you are to 10% better if you put in a couple years, but they don't know how to give you their genetic code to building the same size and shape. Lifters aren't capable of changing your genetics, and even if you say 10-20% better for someone that already lifts for a while is good that doesn't mean they can change your bicep genetics for example. My right Bicep has a beautiful peak, but my left bicep is straight across I didn't do anything different on the right side, and both arms are of equal strength that is genetics for you.
I’ve always asked the guys that seem to be doing well on the body part I’m having trouble with. For example, my upper back has always been the part of me that is the hardest to grow so when I see someone who has a large upper back I ask them what exercises they do for that and if they have any tips. People always love when you ask them because they are probably passionate about working out and you’re also giving them a compliment so they have always been more than happy to talk to me for a couple minutes. I would really recommend it if you’re having trouble with a specific area.
