Just ordered a headset from Heil, i.e., the Pro 7. Had to order two other cables @ $25.00 each cord plus a foot switch. I'll be using on my Kenwood 281a 2 meter modular plug and my Yaesu 991a. Can't wait to try it out. Cheers & 73 from W Rusty Lane K9POW in eastern Tennessee
Set the monitor to 1 to record both sides of the audio.
Good overview of the parts and pieces, but you leave out critical information. Did you change any audio settings in the radio? What element do you have? I'd guess the HC-7 Dynamic? I have the Pro 7 with the HC-7 and haven't had any luck getting good audio reports. The hand mic on the other hand - I get great reports all the time. I have made changes to the audio setting for it. What is that programme your using on the middle monitor???
I think you are referring to Win4yaesu.
@@Chris-in-ky-ky4ckp yeah that must be it. Thanks for the reply. How did you integrate it with the radio to work at the same time as N1MM (assuming that's the other programme) does it not conflict with comports?
@@DxIxNxGxO I use Log4om 2 which is similar to n1mm+.
