I know Nathan went kinda crazy but no flowers for him? Come on Jodie the man raised you like you were his child!
Yes! And she cries when Ryan -who's just a random guy - dies, and when her father figure dies she doesn't seem to care
@@dropocean Ryan was an asshole from the start, even Aiden knew this.
How many ending can just this one game have? I've already seen 7 different endings and people keep saying there are more. They truly went "beyond" in this game.
ok lemme see if I can tell them all..here we go
1) Jodie lives with ryan (2 eyes)
2) Jodie lives with ryan (1 eye)
3) Jodie lives with zoey, jimmy and walter
4) Jodie lives with zoey and jimmy
5) Jodie lives with zoey and walter
6) Jodie lives with zoey
7) Jodie lives with jay (paul alive)
8) Jodie lives with jay (paul death)
9) Jodie lives alone
10) Jodie DIES (end of the world)
11) Jodie goes beyond with shimasani
12) Jodie goes beyond with shimasani and all other that died
with the beyond endings u can get very creative lmao like only ryan died and u can go with him and shimasani or u know, for some reason just jimmy died and go on, that leaves like a whole lot of endings
also if u want to get the "all endings" achievement, well u have to let everyone die and go with the life endings and beyond ending
The love story with Ryan really did feel forced at nearly every turn near the end.
Totally! How the Game just wants to force the Player into this Ship is unbelievable. No Matter how hard you don't want it, how badly you treat him or how often you distance from him or how often you refuse to kiss him, he still later telling Jodie Stuff like "I don't want to loose you, I love you, do you love me too, let's start a new Life together, etc." and kisses Jodie at the Finale regardless of your Choices before. It's just horrible!
am i the only one who really loved ryan? i didnt like how he lied to her, but when they were at the apartment he did nothing wrong, and throughout the whole thing he sood by jodies side even when she ignored him. he was there for her the whole time, but hes a CIA agent, and is sometimes unsure how to rect to personel things. realy, i was rooting for him th whole time
Which only caused the death of like 40 people and kept a nation engrossed in civil war
Same! My heart aches too. What hurts more, I don't think Eric Winter (Ryan) and Ellen (Jodie) had kept in touch after this project. I just played this game this 2024. I stalked their respective Instagram accounts and I was shocked and sad that they were not even following each other 🙁 my fan girl heart got really broken. the sad and painful part when hooked from love teams. They really have chemistry, tho. Eric is happily married and have kids. I hope they at least develop friendship from working together in this game. So difficult to move on.
Glad that I saw your comment.
Actually, I also find it difficult completing other endings as it pains me rejecting Ryan or let Ryan die in the black sun and Jodie. They are the best ending. I am heavily invested in their love team haha.
Hoping for Beyond Two Souls 2 tho.
Nathan isn't weak. He's the Green Goblin on his days off.
I prefer the ending where ryan lives.
I WAS GOING TO CHOOSE RYAN AND THIS ENDING HAPPEND AND I JUST PLAYED THIS.... CRYING
Norman didn't deserve an end like this. He cared so much for jodie! You can always see compassion in his face whenever he talked to jodie, right from day 1.
To be fair he did kinda lie to you, which caused me to kill like 40 innocent people.
MGApcDev To be fair,he just followed orders from the CIA,what do you think would happen to him if he didn't follow the orders
When you're a soldier or a CIA agent, you follow orders without question. That's what he did. I don't think he was an asshole, although, if he knew he had to lie to her, he shouldn't have pursued her romantically. But, he did have her back throughout this and he genuinely loved her.
Mr.Dixon Of the Crossbows they’d kill him? Nice people the CIA are aren’t they. Fuck him and people who used Jodie
yes, ryan is the one that jodie loved, as you can see in this video, also if you chose beyond when ryan is dead jodie said she felt very happy. and huged ryan.
I didn't know they could actually die, Ryan & Cole. That breaks my heart. I loved Ryan. He was an ass at the beginning, but in the end he really became someone Jodie fell in love with and got really close with. That's why I chose to live with Ryan, build a life with Ryan. They've been through so much together, I wouldn't expect otherwise.
She recovered quickly from a gun shot. Most troopers can barely stand after that close range shot
This game makes me so emotional, I've been crying the whole video... So sad... :-( Ryan dies and (you can say) AIDEN and Nathan
oh so when Ryan dies you don't get the cutscene of Jodie crying and alone in a cabin for months well that's good at least..
At least not everyone hates Ryan ;;;
I honestly feel like everyone who hates ryan it's like "yeah, let's ignore the fact that the game's chronology is messed up and assume that the character develops as it's shown canonically and not chronologically".
i feel like they stay with the "Ryan is an asshole" impression and just don't bother to look further into the character, which is okay, it's not a must.
People's changes are shown through actions, and Ryan did a lot for Jodie. People stay with the "Jodie, don't do that!" A.K.A: words. But i think they miss the fact that Ryan says "Jodie, don't do that!" and when Jodie proceeds to do said thing, he helps her anyway.
Ryan says that shutting the black sun down is a crazy idea but ends up helping Jodie anyway. Ryan shouts "JODIE NO!" when she goes back to save Cole but when he follows Jodie he ends up helping her save Cole, not stopping her from doing it.
In my opinion, actions speak louder than words. And Ryan's redemption has a lot of those.
Well....I guess I'm the only one who likes Ryan here......this is awkward lol. Yeah, Ryan made poor choices, but I think he changed later on, and he admitted to his mistakes and regretted it. I admit I liked him bc I thought he was hot, but then got a little irritated a couple times with him, but then I saw how in the game he was becoming a better man, so I loved him again lol. Come on guys, everyone in this world has made stupid choices a couple times in their life.
you arent the only one dude i forgave ryan, besides i totally ship jodie/ryan :P
I disagree with choosing Ryan to live with. Ryan is the first man Jodie saw when she was forced to leave Dawkins and Cole. Then, he lies to her to get her to kill lots of presumably innocent people, and in the very end he suggests that she leave Cole behind when he's hurt in the last condenser scene. So like, fuck that guy. The homeless folk makes the most sense, as they never judged her and were extremely loving and cared about her, a stranger at the time.
Personally, I chose for her to go about it alone, because I figured after a life of her parents, Ryan, and then Dawkins all hurting her significantly in some way, her trust in others would be dead. I honestly think the Ryan ending is there simply to please those who can't live without Hollywood endings where the good looking white male gets the good looking white girl regardless of their extremely trouble history
+John Smith I totally agree. I chosed going with homeless folk. They were so kind with her :)
i agree wtih you so much! At first i hated ryan, and than i hated him even more after he manipulated jodie, and i was sure i wasnt going to choose the ryan ending..... but during the game i realised how much he had changed, how much jodie still really meant to him and how he was willing to do anything for her..... for me all the endings were beautiful.... but i still choose ryan ending...... they've just been through a lot togther
NO you're not.. I know Ryan made a couple of mistakes but he loves her always.
I'm not crying , definitely not, I'm in a pool of tears
So what was everyones first ending? Mine was everyone lived but jodies mom who I put out of her misery and I chose to end it with one eyed ryan. So far my fave is the homeless people ending. Their pure joy at seeing jodie makes me smile every time
+haseo1stform I didn't kill Norah. Yeah, she was suffering but the idea of Jodie killing her mother was a bit too much for me. I thought that in the depht of that drugged body there was still a part of her who was living, so I didn't kill her. It took me a while to decide though.
I didn't know that I could save Paul so he died. Ryan lived but with one eye. I chosed homeless people, I really love them; homeless chapter was one of the most touching parts of the game.
I loved Ryan from the first time that I saw him. I didn't know that he can die in the game. When I saw the doctor with a gun I prefered take it easy.
Nathan got a lot of voice from his original character: goblin green
It's funny how many prefer happy endings to their stories. I always found tragic endings to be more interesting.
rinraiden exactly i killed everyone off even the baby and i stayed alone
This was so heartbreaking for me.. no matter how old the game is.
Aiden moved on. He went into the rift
This doesn't make sense. Ryan is a CIA agent... and he just went for the gun like a fucking 5-year-old.
I didn't like this guy. No matter how much the game kept pushing toward him. Geez, Salim alone is enough of an excuse a hundred life-times over. And to think there are a few dozen more people on the list.
Trying hard to fight back the tears rn
I did not think Ryan could die. So sad when this happened.
Glad to know i'm not the only one who hated Ryan, he gave Jodie the order to commit that masacre while he had plenty of opportunities to turn Jodie away from becoming a killer. I like the idea Jodie goes for Jay as she gets to live a life away from the government and connect with the native american society.
Idk. I felt that the Jay ending was the worst one imo. I mean, she barely knew the guy. True, they had a bit of chemistry after Jay stopped rejecting her, but a few days and one kiss shouldn't be enough to persuade Jodie to spend the rest of her life with him. That ending felt so "forced" to me just to satisfy everyone. Plus, it kinda shows since it was the shortest ending with barely any after story.
〉EnigmaticSilhouette〈 you might be right about them barely getting to know each other, but I guess they just had fondness for each other.
When it comes to Ryan I do think that Jodie got more build up and time to know Ryan, as much as I hate to admit it.
My favourite ending is when Jodie goes to live with Stan and his other former homeless friends.
JReed1985 Yeah, I agree with that. Even though we can choose the ending, I honestly believe that the actual "true" ending is the one where she goes to live with the newly restored homeless friends. They were the least judgmental of her, even after she revealed her gift, and she could also help raise and train Zoey.
NO, RYAN NO, PLEASE RYAN DO NOT 😦😧😭"Like I know he did a lot of stupidity, he lied to Jodie, but he did not deserve to die
Not Cole
The feels :(
This was one of the most sad moments in this game I always cry yeah he was a dick sometimes but he truly loved her and he has no one thats why I will always choose him
NO FUCK NOT COLE HE WAS CHILL AS FUCK
when ryan dies and you DON'T choose Life.. will you see him on the other side?
AND COLE!!!!
you should go and see kpopp playing beyond 2 souls you know why because Rayan don't die.
3:57 what's the name of the song??
I never seen this ending of this. Is this another ending. Well that is just cool. But sad.
So many endings but all really good :)
i absolutly hated ryan at first. on the date mission i made i so bad that he left. and made it hell for him every chance i got. but i couldnt help choosing ryan at the end because i felt sorry for him
So this is the offical cannon ending.
ALL THE FEELS!
If Ryan dies at this point, what does Jodie sees in "LIFE" when she has to choose?
God this game is emotional and I don't even have a ps3
Okay just off this video, anyone know the songs in the soundtrack that played in this video?
Everyone hates Ryan but he loved Jodie and he was hot so...
In my story everybody survived except Nathan but i convinced him. I didn't like Ryan because he lied and he was kinda toxic when they first met so I chose to live with Jay and Aiden came back. I think i had the perfect ending.
That's a suspicious thumbnail
Despite all the heroism... Ryan is the worst boyfriend since Kaidan Alenko
How about four times? Despite all the heroism... Ryan is the worst boyfriend since Kaidan Alenko. I'm just kidding, because a know you are kidding. Your're funny
would Ryan be on the other side(with Horah and indian folks) if you choose Beyond?
yeah, he can die, when I played it I let him die, but I thought that should've happen, but when I saw Ryan can't die I was like WTF!!. But I'm not dissapointed about my ending, "Alone" I think is one of the best with "Zoey"
Wow CIA best agent couldn't take a gun away from a sad weak old man cx
If this was real life Ryan would be a rapist. First time I met him in the game, I played in chronological order, I couldn't stand him.
Well, I guess he did die a hero........
I know that ryan dies but why does cole die too? I know he had an injury but in my ending he was still alive
if you failed the QuickTime events you leave him on the ground rather than carrying him on the other side of the steel gate.
24 endings
I was crying!
Same
The game forces you to be with him and I made sure to make it a s bad as possible every time
I always hated ryan until he lost an eye
Omg that so sad
Poor Ryan ;(
COLE DIED????
wait how did cole died I know that he was hit by and entities but how did he die easily
if you failed the QuickTime events you leave him on the ground rather than carrying him on the other side of the steel gate.
Never liked him anyway.
in my game nathan killed himself
LOL take my like!
FINALLY!
I've been Waiting for Ryan to die ever since he made Jodie jump out of a fucking moving plane
Wait, Whaaaat?
awwwwwwwwwww
:( :( ;(
Good i hate ryan, he tricked jodie into killing an innocent boy's father
;_; not cole
first
I believe he can die even earlier in the game if you let the Chinese dude continue torturing him.
am i the only one who really loved ryan? i didnt like how he lied to her, but when they were at the apartment he did nothing wrong, and throughout the whole thing he sood by jodies side even when she ignored him. he was there for her the whole time, but hes a CIA agent, and is sometimes unsure how to rect to personel things. realy, i was rooting for him th whole time
How did a 30 year old CIA agent lose against a 55 old professor in a one on one fight? I mean Ryan even surprised Nathan, so how did Nathan manage to shoot him anyways? XD doesn't make sense to me, but it's a nice (and tragic) ending where Jodie realizes how lonely she feels without Ryan.
I know this is extremely old but it’s because Nathan was struggling so he was able to shoot Ryan but then Ryan managed to shoot him. Basically tables turned for both of them.
