Front Forward View of the Journey from Bank - Mudchute via Canary Wharf, filmed in the evening so enjoy the London lighting!
Trains had stacked due to an incident on another train at Bank. From what I could hear on the operator's radio, it sounded like either a police incident or an ATO signal failure, meaning that a train had to be driven manually with clearance from control. When this happens, the train in manual mode is limited in speed which causes delays.
As a result, to avoid congestion, this service was diverted into the original line Platform at Mudchute which is now a Bay Terminus, to turn back North at it's correct time. So we get the Drivers View of this Platform and Mudchute Crossover!
Starting Underground at Bank (City) in the City of London, the train climbs out to the surface just east of the Tower line before calling at Shadwell, Limehouse, Westferry, Canary Wharf, Heron Quays, South Quay, Crossharbour and MUDCHUTE (Millwall Park). West India Quay is bypassed via the flyunder avoiding line which means the Stratford Regional line is kept clear of crossing trains.
See if you can see the structure which becomes the CrossRail Station today.
Filmed in February 2020 (just before you know what hit - if only we knew what was coming....)
who does mind the gap announcements
You mean the PSO - onboard train crew whom was in the operating seat at the front next to me?
@@CBeaumontHIGTFY no but the automated one
@@He_who_likes_everything That is a good question - one that I don't know the answer to I'm afraid. I do wonder if they will give the voice a refresh with the new trains.

@@CBeaumontHIGTFY also at 18:30, I wonder what lies beyond there because I heard that there was a tunnel beyond the bufferstops
