It’s always been funny to me that Europeans don’t think Americans are real sports fans because they can exist in the same area as opposing fans without killing each other.. maybe that’s just the logical practical way to behave when you remember you’re simply at a sporting event (which is literally a professionalized children’s game) and not at the onset of WW3 or something.. fanbase legacies go back just as far in the US as they do in Europe, it just took a radical violent turn at some point in Europe for some reason
I’m not even really a football fan, but going to a college football game-especially SEC-is an amazing experience. I’m from Arkansas: say what you will about the Razorbacks football team, but game weekends in Fayetteville, in the Ozarks, are amazing. It’s definitely one of the best college towns in the country, and set in such a beautiful natural setting.
We Americans get stereotyped over food and guns and whatnot, which is completely fair and we embrace that stuff. But honestly America's stereotype should be about being obsessed with sport, with competition in general. Doesn't matter if it's football, that weird curling thing in the Olympics, esports, chess or checkers... Whatever it is, so much of our culture is built on competition. Americans love to compete, win or lose competition is great, but we do really love a winner.
You should go to a high school game also. Even for teenagers it can pull a crowd of over 1000 and there are a lot of big name high schools in the Austin area.
Sigh…I miss tailgating at UT aka Tennessee. Taking 1/2 day Friday to prep, up at 4:30am for a night game, at spot next to bball arena by 5am, fully setup with tents, coolers, Sat dish, generator, TV’s, etc. Seeing all the people you only see a few times a year, making 700 Jell-O shots, food, watching the game at the tailgate and hearing the roar of a score and fireworks before you see it on TV. Watching other games after ours was over, slowly tearing down and packing up the tailgate van and eventually getting back home about 2am. And then doing again 6-7 more times a year. Bad knees took me out. 😢
Last time i was there i just wanted to go back and do it all over again. It all went by so fast. We didn't realize how special that time of our life was
As an alumnus and fan I often take for granted the spectacle that is College Football at The University. Your video allows me to remember how amazing gameday actually is. Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed the experience always welcomed backt to Texas and no other way to top off the night but with whataburger ❤❤ loved it
It’s always been funny to me that Europeans don’t think Americans are real sports fans because they can exist in the same area as opposing fans without killing each other.. maybe that’s just the logical practical way to behave when you remember you’re simply at a sporting event (which is literally a professionalized children’s game) and not at the onset of WW3 or something.. fanbase legacies go back just as far in the US as they do in Europe, it just took a radical violent turn at some point in Europe for some reason
Unless you go to a game in Philly and watch your team play the Eagles. Don’t wear your teams colors unless you want beer poured on you.
Really well done video. That stadium experience was something else!!
That was great seeing you guys enjoy that
Good stuff y’all… but Go Dawgs!
First time viewer of the channel, great video, the woman in the video has an infectious excitement for life. Kind of a refreshing personality.
This was great. Go Dawgs!
Great video, but the B-1s going to afterburner at 15:36 was awesome.
Craig, your pronunciation of Whataburger was pretty spot on. 😁
My favorite fast-food eatery. Live near Atlanta and we are just about to get one in my town, so happy.
Texas Longhorns football & Whataburger! Hookem Horns!
Thank you for your visit. Yall come back .
There’s plenty or amazing experiences at other SEC football venues as well. Highly recommend going to other stadiums!
Moved to Austin last November
My first job was at a Texas football game.
Was incredible!
To think this is happening all over USA!
Merica is the best
Go Dawgs. Great video !
Top tier filming and editing.
You should go to a high school game also. Even for teenagers it can pull a crowd of over 1000 and there are a lot of big name high schools in the Austin area.
High schools in many states will have 10-20,000 fans at a game.
Texas HS playoff games often have 40,000+ in attendance. It’s f’n nuts.
RIP Ben Herbstreit 12:25
This is so cool. Nice job, guys.
That dog passed away shortly after this video, he was a legend in the football community RIP Ben 😢
Loved this for you.
Awesome video!
Dawg here, great vid, jolly good even!
This was really cool to watch!
Go Dawgs!!! Glad y'all were able to experience this, but even better since the Dawgs won!!! 😊
We didn't realize how special that time of our life was
I thought Tennessee was TENN
The real fun is on the houseboats.
That analysis at 4:45. Pure gold.
As an alumnus and fan I often take for granted the spectacle that is College Football at The University. Your video allows me to remember how amazing gameday actually is. Thank you!
lol i hate Texas but yea i used to work at the south endzone project and i must say the gameday experience is one the best in the country.
Two truly American events to attend: a big college football game and a game 5/7 of a playoff series baseball game.
I love an hour north of Austin and every stadium in the south is like that. Glad you had a fun time.😂
Respect for keeping the jacket on the entire time. It was hot af that weekend!
Such a great video I enjoyed this so much. Texas fans are so friendly from what it seems. Or maybe you just didn’t run into any mean ones haha. Nice video would be cool to see you do more American videos I love it❤❤
How bout them Dawgs!
How cool.
You mentioned your college rival in England.
Coincidentally, my mother's family originated in Warwick and my Father's, in Leicester.
It was like the "100 years war" growing up.😅
Glad you had a great time! Come back anytime! 🤘
Loved the video. GO DAWGS!
I defy you to come to a football game, hear the anthem, watch the planes, and not love America.
We have our problems, but it’s an amazing place with probably the most enthusiastic people ever.
From San Antonio here, glad you guys had a great time in our state. Yup , down these parts, football is a religion , son. lol.
the portland timbers is a great tijme ,,, portland's soccer team and fan base are awesome
Not only did you get a football game at a big school, you also got a B-1 Lancer flyover! So cool! Glad y’all got to have an amazing experience!
