Today I was at a church retreat and I asked the lord for the Holy Spirit to touch me. I fell and started to cry intensely, but at the same time I felt peace

@@robertjonson8864 Jesus said paraphrasing " Thank you Lord for you've revealed the secrets of the kingdom unto babes." I agree that no one should act as though they are greater, because of works or otherwise. Secondly I don't think there's anything wrong with falling down due to the power of the holy spirit, there are still many instances of "falling down" in the bible aside from those I posted. Thirdly Jesus said "greater works", if Jesus did it, holy spirit willing we can do it to but it should be according to the instruction of the holy spirit.

In the Bible, it is recorded that Jesus raised people up. In the early church, God healed people as the disciples reached out their hands to help them stand. So many scriptures speak about how God lifts people up to help them get on their feet physically and spiritually. And yet here, we see a display of the exact opposite.
People rolling on the ground in all sorts of states just as you would see it in witchcraft.
This is not the work of the holy spirit it is a work of the flesh.
