Hi there and thank you for watching. To answer your question I would say it depends on your hair type and how you started your locs . Also how often you retwist and other things like that those play a part of having thick locs.

I got my hair locd with the instant loc method. It’s so hard for me to see my hair growth, I’ll try to take pictures more often to stay inspired 😩

I'm so skeptical about getting loc styles on my starter locs, I'm 3 months in and its wild , lots of unraveling at the root and also of the two strand itself, how often was her hair in styles ? I see it didnt affect thickness

@@Chynax_M I see, I don’t either my head gets too hot and it triggers my seborrheic dermatitis so I sleep on a satin pillow case and pray for the best I also have starter locs
I think if you sleep with a satin pillow case then you should be fine lol

what do you use to retwist her hair and do u air dry or blow dry?
Most of the time just oil and rose water. I recently just started using the lions loc moisturizing cream. And she air dry her hair .
When where you getting retwist like how long would u go like a month without one an I’ve been doing palm rolling but I’m changing that it shrinks my hair just gonna get a natural retwist from now on want thicker locs

So basically what I was saying was like palm rolling makes my dreads more skinnier I want my dreads to become thicker not skinny

You can retwist whenever you like . That’s totally up to you. You just have to be ready to deal with the new growths and everything else that comes with semi free form. But you totally can do it 🙌🏾
