That's absolutely incredible. I started mining in 2017 and have the original gpus still humming along. I have 7 zotac 1060 6gb and 1 asus 1660 6gb. My total wattage including the box fan for extra cooling is 839 watts. Total Mh is 181. The cards are not cranked up too high as the heat vs reward ratio just isn't worth to squeeze out an additional 10mh/s. I use a HP server supply and a 850w atx supply to power the mobo and 2 gpus/risers. Both are running on 240v instead of 120(higher voltage, lower current...Ohms law, and almost always more efficient). You also get the benefit of have exactly equal input voltage to both supplies regardless of spikes or dips. Which can snub out potential differences in rapid spikes or ripple that makes it through. I am in awe of 330mh@880W. Man, i thought i was efficient lmao. It's always been like that too.

Hi, very very nice rig. Have built the same rig with now 5 Sapphire Nitro+ GPU's in it using a Asrock H110 Pro BTC+ motherboard. All 5 cards (6th is on its way) did flash bios according your explanation in the video's. Works great. All settings set. However, the power from the wall remains high. Measuring this, typically per GPU's about 200 to 220 W. As if they are not listening to the new settings even though they are hasing at 55.3 MH/s and Phoenix miner says 87 W to max 90W per GPU (in the software). These numbers are including the PC that has an idle power of 75W and when busy 100W. (Connection via riser or PCie-16 slot did hardly not make a difference in wall power btw) My question. How to get down to say 130 to 150W per card? Mine are far above the 200W each. Everything is equal in numbers to your video. Resulting hashrates, software noted power consumption per GPU in the miner log, AMD Radeon software settings,... everything. If I would add up al the powers then the final 6 GPU rig Nitro+ is about (6x200 + 100) = 1300 W. Which is not a good value compared to the 880W. Any ideas or suggestions to look at? Btw, mining with Phoenix miner via Nicehash or Ethermine.org gave both the same results. Good hasrates but bad real power consumption. Thanks already for an answer. And thanks as well for the great video's and explanation.

@@MiningChamber waiting for new GPU's will have you waiting for a few more months I'm afraid :D at least you can get some 3090's, which at 110-145M using ~300w are not that bad :)
Hi I'd like to know if you had a parts list for a good budget rig, that's upgradeable down the line, I've never made one before and I want to make a good investment.
I think the best options for budget will be the rx 580s since they are cheap. Starting with a 6x rx 580 rig is good but it is not future proof. Id wait for the new gpus to come out then seeing what numbers we can find there!
I actually much rather HiveOs at this point than windows. Everytime there is a new hardware in windows it's a pain to setup haha but I'm looking to transfer everything to a mining specific OS soon!!
Definitely one of the nicest Rigs I have seen recently. This one is so gorgeous with the led’s it makes me drool 🤤 I want one exactly like it. 2 bad they are sold out..
The fan screws can't be screwed with the electric one we have, the power of it is not strong enough to screw them that is why it has a manual mode as well! Trust me I would've loved doing it on the electric mode 😂
Will you come out with a video on how to power the gpus / risers? I have (2) PSUs (both 1300 watts) powering (8) 5700s. Both PSUs have 6 PCIE outlets; on both PSUs I use 4 PCIE outlets to directly power 4 GPUs and 2 PCIE outlets to power 4 risers. I’m curious on how your power distributed ...did you power any of the risers with molex? or did you split one of the PCIE cables 4 ways? I’m thinking about adding 2-4 more GPUs but I don’t have any more PCIE outlets.
To day: 27th July 2021: I calculate the profit to your rig in my country (Algeria) where the power cost (0.04$/kwh), and the rig run 10H per day, it will get 565$ per month and 595$ without power money.
If we could ever find any graphics cards left... That would be great. :)) Now i'm sticking to my 1080Ti like an artefact. And I play games instead on nvidia geforce now
Haha even more! Usually a year to breakeven. As per the pinned comment we did some miscalculation, the profits where wayyyy to high on that date which is usually not normal
that's great numbers tho, the cards can last more than five years at least, and if you're worried about halvings you can just move to other coins. I'm thinking of making the investment
@@MiningChamber Oh, i got my 1660S recently and it's really all the horsepower i need to do some 1080p 144hz gaming. i am just gonna replace the rest of my pc since somehow it has started to struggle even though it uses some good parts. well the case was the mistake but yes. 0:42 not so sure about it... the saphire 5700 xt s.e. has dual bios and nobody around youtube talked about how to flash bios in that situation neither you did !
I myself was not aware of that switch on the nitro plus! Sorry! Although, in the overclocking and BIOS modding video I talk about the bios switch. Plus, you only need the switch if you brick your card.
@@MiningChamber the 5700 special edition actually has 3 position switch. 2 for the manual select and the third is for software select. when i tried to flash it was on this software selection and by the tdp I understand it was on the performance one. so i bricked that bios not because the selector but the card it self does not accept the modified bios looks like for the special edition doesn't let me write any modified bios. the dos version of the flasher does not tell you anithing and write it anyway after that.. with that bios you can't even see specs on gpu-z. To figure all this I used windows version of amdvblash and this time it told me the bios can't be written and don't even start the flashing. but in the end my cards today makes 52.4 mh/s each with stock bios and since I have micron memory I can't push them over 1810 because every 24 I got a crash. Do you think by making the memory straps over 1550 at the same 1800 clock over I can't push , they could give me better result ?
That is very interesting, good to know about the special edition thank you for the info! And yes no matter what your oc settings are, bios modding it will give you the little push of 3-4 mh
its much quicker to use a config.txt file. establish the gt value first on one card then its pretty much gonna be the same on all identical cards. then you set / fix the GT, core, core volts and mem clock in the config.txt. if you lower mvvd you can cut the wattage even more. if you can get them the plain blower 5700s are awesome miners cos their ram is properly cooled. mvvd requires linux or amd tweak xl tool. best wishes from manchester uk. i use -eres 4 and extended stats in phoenix. plain blower 5700s can get 56 megahash long term - mine have been up for months. best place to put a rig is cold basement
That is amazing thank you for the great insight! We need to get into the config.txt for sure! The blower style cards I heard are alot better We will hopefully get some of them in the near future. Thank you again!!
Where does the purple/white 2PIN wire connect to on the motherboard? (5:57) I’m in over my head 🤦🏼♂️ *UPDATE- After some research, I figured out it’s the Power Switch cable so I connected it properly to the PANEL1 ON/OFF pins (15/16). But where does the other end go!? I see in the video, you just wrapped it around the motherboard post, so I did the same. Does it not connect to anything?
@@MiningChamber Thank you! 🙏 You’ve been a lifesaver! 😇 Do you have a video going over how to plug in the rest of the cables? Where do I connect the rest of the power supply /PCI-E cables?

It's cheap at that time, look at now, even a piece of second-hand RX580 rises to $450 and above , wtf, everybody goes to be a miner at this moment. Thanks for your contribution.
hello nice video !!! sorry to ask dummy questions but its the first time i builg a mining rig !!! but on this Motherboard where to you plug the RGB cable for the fans.. i didnt saw any RGB or led pin , so can you show where to plug it. thanks
Hey! Thank you!! Unfortunately the 12V RGB cables dont plug on the motherboard :( I got one that plugs to SATA so I didnt have to use a 4-5 pin to Motherboard. EZDIY fans the one we got usually have a 12v SATA controller!
@@MiningChamber Sorry to ask again, im not sure to understand you. There is 2 connection needed to be done, in order for the fans to work : RGB(to control the lights of the fans) and the PSU connection. So for the PSU i agree its the sata connection but since there is no pins for RGB on that motherboard, you use a other sata connector to control the RGB for the fans ? I looked on amazon for the EZDIY(EZDIY-FAB 120mm ) model and i see a sata connection to the PSU for the power but still use RBG to connect to pins on motherboards...perhaps if you can provide me the exact model, i might have looked to the wrong one or misunderstood something.
That RGB connector is most likely for Sync. ( Syncs motherboard rgb with the fans) but if you get the ones with the controller and the fans only connect to that fan hub that connects to SATA then they should turn on RGB and work through that mini controller. www.amazon.ca/dp/B08C2FWMX9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_upcPFbFQDWGRM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 this is an example

@Jideus maybe better on bhphotovideo.com?
Hey, does the brand of the graphics card matter? or can i use any brand? what are the differences?
Great looking build. You should be using HiveOS though, best mining OS out there IMO (certainly superior to Windows!)
Thank you!! And I absolutely agree, I used HiveOs on the 8x 5700 xt rig and it was way more stable!

Nice work bro shame no one can get a graphics card when you have 6 of them.
Would you recommend waiting until new GPUs are released or using the components recommended in your video? Thanks for the video!
I'd recommend trying to look for deals! If you can't find good deals then waiting till new GPUs are available will be better financially
@@MiningChamber waiting for new GPU's will have you waiting for a few more months I'm afraid :D at least you can get some 3090's, which at 110-145M using ~300w are not that bad :)

Another great video! Looking forward on video on migrating from windows to hive os. 👍🏻
Thank you!! We are excited about it!
Hi, im form Brazil this channel is awesome. Please, never remove the translations. Thanks.

Great video as usual ! I find this channel to be way underrated, excellent content delivered with great quality, great job man !
Thank you man really appreciated!!
Hello, why do you prefer windows rather than hiveos? I'm curious
I actually much rather HiveOs at this point than windows. Everytime there is a new hardware in windows it's a pain to setup haha but I'm looking to transfer everything to a mining specific OS soon!!
hey ,,,, i wanna know , how to install and configured the mining software,
Am using minergate. It’s very easy to install it.
Using quantim cloud, 10 bucks every 3-4 days

using electric screwdriver manually... lolwut
😂 it's not strong enough to screw the fan screws. Needs force 😅
@@MiningChamber what? my cheap Bosch and Black n Decker are too strong and too fast, I rarely use them vs my Makita all around drill.
The fan screws can't be screwed with the electric one we have, the power of it is not strong enough to screw them that is why it has a manual mode as well! Trust me I would've loved doing it on the electric mode 😂

How many ethereum does this mining rig mine per day?

after checking your vids we, my girlfriend and i, decided to make our own rig. Thank you for this video's men, appriciate!
Aw thank you and good luck!
how did it go with your rig?
Will you come out with a video on how to power the gpus / risers? I have (2) PSUs (both 1300 watts) powering (8) 5700s. Both PSUs have 6 PCIE outlets; on both PSUs I use 4 PCIE outlets to directly power 4 GPUs and 2 PCIE outlets to power 4 risers. I’m curious on how your power distributed ...did you power any of the risers with molex? or did you split one of the PCIE cables 4 ways? I’m thinking about adding 2-4 more GPUs but I don’t have any more PCIE outlets.
Hey Daniel! Our this week's video will dive in deep about this topic and hopefully it will answer all your questions and concerns!!

To day: 27th July 2021:
I calculate the profit to your rig in my country (Algeria) where the power cost (0.04$/kwh), and the rig run 10H per day, it will get 565$ per month and 595$ without power money.
Nice rig, those numbers will be incredible in todays prices. I wish I could find affordable gpus.
Now wonder i cannot get any gpu for my gaming pc. Such a greedy people
If we could ever find any graphics cards left... That would be great. :)) Now i'm sticking to my 1080Ti like an artefact. And I play games instead on nvidia geforce now

It's crazy to see the prices of graphics card now vs when this video came out. Even used cards wise.
I know right!!
Well.. can i buy?
+1 3 5 2 6 1 9 3 1 8 8
*Basically you need SIX MONTHS just to make the money back*
Haha even more! Usually a year to breakeven. As per the pinned comment we did some miscalculation, the profits where wayyyy to high on that date which is usually not normal
You have to think about the profits in 3-5+ years. What is profitability when ETH hits 1400$? 2000$? 5000$?
that's great numbers tho, the cards can last more than five years at least, and if you're worried about halvings you can just move to other coins. I'm thinking of making the investment
Fun Fact: gamers are now cussing at miners

Forex and cryptocurrency is the order of the day in the modern world so rather than storing it, venture into investments that could bolster your financial status.
But before going into it you would need the formal supervision of a very professional and trustworthy broker, I would advice you work with Mrs Rosslyn Howard.
I had my doubts at first about investing with Mrs Rosslyn but after getting my first pay out once my mouth has been full of praises when I look back at what I have achieved thus far just from a $2000 startup capital which brought a profit of about 250% in a week I’ve been left in awe
There is a no risk factor in her investment which provides you with her taking full responsibility for any losses making sure that you have no chance of losing money.
Yes she is, I was having doubts at first until I got my first payout I think she's the best broker in the world
I started investing with her during the pandemic I'm now on my way to financial freedom
Mrs Rosslyn really changed my life, with my investment of $1000 I'm now able to attend to the basic needs of my family because of the high profits I get from investing Bitcoin with her, I'll really recommend her for beginners
How can one get through to Mrs Rosslyn Howard? because it seems like she's a reputable business

do i invest in something i have no clue about like 🤷♂️ wall street etc Hell no rather keep my $ and not waste spending everything/gimick you see new pc done
Always research before you invest!
this price of this rig you could buy 7 eth how long will it take to mine 7 eth after lec ur 50 bucks a week ?
Buying 7 ETH is a one time thing. Buying hardware that will bring you ETH is a long term investment. Financially investing in hardware is better and more secure. You have the crypto asset and the hardware that you can sell later on for at least 50% of your initial investment!

I’m in over my head 🤦🏼♂️
*UPDATE- After some research, I figured out it’s the Power Switch cable so I connected it properly to the PANEL1 ON/OFF pins (15/16). But where does the other end go!? I see in the video, you just wrapped it around the motherboard post, so I did the same. Does it not connect to anything?
Exactly you can just wrap it around!! And awesome! It's like a little switch that's basically it!

hello nice video !!! sorry to ask dummy questions but its the first time i builg a mining rig !!! but on this Motherboard where to you plug the RGB cable for the fans.. i didnt saw any RGB or led pin , so can you show where to plug it. thanks
Hey!
