One of the few times in my 75 years that the hair on the back of my neck stands to attention. I had the privilege of serving in a Scottish Regiment in my younger life for 12 years. We had our own quality pipe band and never kept cadence to a more beautiful sound. Thanks Sir Paul for creating this masterpiece.
We live in NC and when my 40 yr old Bro in law died from brain tumor recently ,we found a fellow from a local Scottish bagpipe band to come play “Amazing Grace” on his bagpipes (even wore his kilts!)He just marched round and round at the funeral parlor .It was quite a send off !My brother in law had just always loved bagpipes.RIP Kev
