Well done folks! Glad to see more young kids willing to play some solid games :) My 10 year old son and I play just about anything with a fair amount of overlap with your lists
Hey, I love the format you have here. Points of view from kids and adults is great since I’m turning into an old guy but still want to be young at heart.
Yeah, games I like to play are not necessarily the same ones I would pick for my top 20 list if I had to rank my collection. I really shouldn't be watching this because it's going to make me want more games. Lost Ruins of Arnak is amazing! One of my recent acquisitions. I passed over this one when it came out and I'm glad I didn't miss it completely. Wingspan has been on my radar for a while. I've passed over it because it seemed a little too plain. It looks pretty but nothing about the mechanics of the game have captured my attention...yet. Cascadia is really good. People keep comparing it to Calico, saying it's an improvement on the formula but I like them both for different reasons. Canvas! Another recent acquisition. It's probably overly simple for many gamers but cozy games are necessary for a well rounded collection. I always look for games that will entice non-gamers into the hobby. Canvas is that. Space Base...absolutely! Maintaining engagement for all players even when it is another's turn makes this one great. The sense of progression really satisfied me. Downforce is another one that has been on my radar. Still haven't bought but you might contribute to tipping the scales toward a purchase. Expeditions; Scythe killer? Really? I loved Scythe and have to admit I didn't pay much attention to this one. Maybe it just looked like more of the same. Huh, I'll have to check it out. Heat: Pedal to the Medal; well if that is also recommended I might have to ignore Downforce in favor of this one. The betting part of Downforce didn't really appeal to me. So, maybe this will be the one to fill that racing slot. I'll be checking out the rest of this vid later. Thanks.
Canvas is so fun! Great choice! Just to try something different, a few of us tried a game of Canvas together where we just chose art pics based on trying to get the most beautiful aesthetically pleasing look. Then, after we each assembled our 3 sets (final pics), then we flipped up the scoring cards. And saw who won by points. 😂 We also (for fun) voted on who we thought had the best overall picture and the most “thinky “ picture. 😁 I won with points, my daughter won the “thinky” award and my daughter in law won the most beautiful. We decided this way was also enjoyable and will do that version again, intermixed with the regular game.
One of the best top 20 lists I've watched and I've watched a lot. Love the contributions from the kiddos. Played all the games but Capital Lux and added it to my want to buy.
Hello there. The asymmetry of Root has made it difficult for my children to take to it. On a personal level, I enjoy Root, just not quite enough to make my top 20 at the moment.
Great video. This was the first video of yours that I have seen. Love your smart youngsters and their perspectives!
Thank you so much!!
I would watch you guys anytime. Thanks for your work! Keep going.

Be sure to come back and tell us what you think of Capital Lux!
Lot of good games. That was fun toi watch (but a bit long. Hopefully she stays nearly all the video !!! 😊)
Some great games. But why isn't TI4 number #1 on all the lists? ;)

@@WeAreInTheCave Thank you, sir. I just found your channel. Subbed.
Did you guys not like Root?
