I'm doing my tomatoes in Dutch buckets this year. I have peppers and green beans in Dutch buckets right now. I got into different hydroponic methods last year.

I work at an elementary school, and I've been working on setting up an aquaponics system in the greenhouse. I'm excited to experiment with some different things with that. Do you find that tomatoes and peppers do well in your hydroponics? Thanks for commenting!

@familyfunhomesteadingandDIY last year I experimented with tomatoes in hydroponics vs soil. The hydroponics system I used was too narrow but it was fruiting in 45 days. This year I'm running it in my nft and Dutch buckets. My peppers right now are in Dutch buckets. It's been 70-75 days and I have fruits 5-6 in long.

@@thefarfiles wow, that's great! What growing zone are you in? We're still in the thirties and low forties for our highs. :) We'll still be awhile before we can even plant in greenhouses that aren't heated.

@familyfunhomesteadingandDIY well mother nature is going through menopause right now. I live in Indianapolis, so I'm growing my plants in my basement as of now.
