    I’ve been noticed that it is difficult to acquire the KF94 filter, so I found a link to a Korean online shopping website that offers global delivery. KF94 is officially proven that it could block more than 95 percent of the known viruses. It may charge you about twenty to 25 dollars for global delivery, but with this, you could make about 50 masks with one roll. There may be countries that could not be delivered, but there are many countries that they do deliver, including the USA. As you might have heard, Korea is famous for its filter and testing kit for the COVID-19. Most items are reliable and functional. Detailed would be written in Korean, but you could change the language fo the site to other languages, please check if it has yours. I hope this information could help people all over the world.
    (Please check the very bottom of the site to switch to your country. The shipment is available to many countries but they offer the language in English.)

      The thing is I see alot of people wearing masks with a gap between the nose and cheeks. If you can put a wire in to form to your nose it would be much better! Paper clips unfolded work great! I sew, but I would imagine tape would work .

    We should be learning from other countries (Korea, Thailand, etc) Despite what some governments are saying, it doesn’t take a rocket science to know that we should ALL be wearing masks to prevent the spread of the corona virus. No matter the percentage, having a mask seems far wiser than NOT having one. This video was very helpful!

      Don't forget that the WHO has been infiltrated by Chinese communist loyalists. Their so-called "guidance" cannot be trusted. It still amazes me that folks don't believe in wearing masks during a pandemic. Some protection is better than no protection. As seen in South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Hong Kong, the coronavirus cases have been flatlining (because they practice public mask-wearing), whereas in the Western countries are getting worse and worse, because they take bad advice from the CDC and the WHO, both are trying to cover-up for the government's failure to heed warnings from their Far East counterparts, who are more experienced in dealing with pandemics (i.e. the SARS outbreak) in terms of public policymaking. Those officials that urged citizens to NOT WEAR MASKS should all be arrested to criminally charged for causing so much illnesses, deaths, and economic turmoil.

They approved our pattern, which has a pocket for inserting non-woven material, like coffee filters, and pleats for added layers. Urgent is urgent.

    If you want an even better fit around the nose, so that you can pinch to fit your own nose, put a twister seal at the very top of the filter, before you make the first folds, and the end product will allow you to use that flexible strip, to pinch a better/tighter fit at the nose-bridge. #MacGyver :D

      I can't quite picture how this works (does it protrude through the filter and fabric?) and what you call a twister seal (is that like a bread tie?). Would you mind elaborating? Thank you!

    • @LizInTheB
      @LizInTheB 4 роки тому +27

      @@k.landry6270 Sorry for the confusion. 'Twister tie' might be local vernacular, but if you Google 'vinyl twist ties', you'll see what I mean (probably exactly what you thought I meant) :) and also see that you can buy a big bag of them for just a few bucks, and they are all nice and flat since they were never used.
      If you start video at 1:53, watch where she puts the filter, and place the flat twister seal at the very top of the filter, so that when you make that 1st fold, the fold itself will help secure the twister seal in the top portion of the mask, just above the filter. When you're finished the mask and put it on, you can easily adjust the twister seal to the bridge of your nose, for a little extra fitted protection. I hope all of this made sense. Feel free to let me know if it didn't--I'm happy to help.

    You can use furnace filters from Lowe's, wal-mart, Target, Home depot, anyplace that has them but 1. NO FIBERGLASS ones, they will harm you and 2. They need to be Merv-14 or so, the ones that specify "filters viruses" somewhere on the packaging. Take the filter material out of the frame, flatten it, then cut to fit your mask, line the mask with it.
    Also, use double-stick tape or a twist-tie or pipe-cleaner to keep the mask tight to your nose. For the pipe cleaner or twist-tie (like from a bread wrapper), place it at the top in the step where she puts the filter in - put the twist tie in there at that point.
    Here's one kind of furnace filter that works, (sold out) but this is what you're looking for:
