    Where I work we have the new Happy 6-head stretch and a new Happy 2-head, and a very old 6-head. The very old Happy 6-head we use for hats, tablecloths.....it still does beautiful work. The new machines does wonders, we love them......the 2 head we use a lot for training new employees and for sewing off new digitized designs. The Happy machines are wonderful. I want to look into a Happy Machine so when I retire, I will have some extra income coming in. Happy machines are GREAT!

    What needle and thread you recommending?
    My second question how often you oil the bobbin shaft?

    • @TexmacHappyEmbroideryMachines
      @TexmacHappyEmbroideryMachines  9 місяців тому

      Generally most people are using 40-weight polyester thread with a 75/11 sharp point needle. No need to oil the bobbin shaft, but it is necessary to oil the race of the rotary hook roughly every 100,000 stitches.

      Hi Lynn - the cap kit is not included in the box, but Texmac frequently offers package deals with machine, cap sewing kit and other items such as starter kit and additional hoops. Send your inquiry to happyjapan.com/contact for deals and pricing.

    I have a couple older Voyager models i bought used and i like them i just wish mine had the display panel. And the software needs some updating.

      The firmware can be updated, the downloads are available for free. Depending on which Voyager, it can be easy to do so.

    But it’s not a 12x12” sewing field??? It’s 11x11.4”? I really need at least 11.8” on one side. What is the size of the cylinder arm?

      Hi, KC. Rene Rosales here. You are right, the max sew field for both machines is around 290mm x 280mm. That sew field requires a larger hoop such as the 12" x 12" to make room for the machine's presser foot, and to accommodate the need to taper the hoop's corners a little.

    Do you have videos that differentiates voyager and hcd

      What would you like to know? Both have commercial-grade drive systems and motors so they are built to run nonstop. Voyager has a max sew field of about 11.5" x 11.2" and max speed of 1000spm. HCD has a max sew field of 20.5" x 15.74", and comes included with a set of large 17.25" x 16.5" hoops (as well as other sizes), and its cap sew field is 14.1" wide (vs. 11.5" for the Voyager). It tops out at 1200 spm, so it has higher sustained speeds and will produce more items per hour than the Voyager even when set at the same speed. HCD is 233 pounds and takes up a 3 foot x 3 foot footprint, Voyager is about 99 lbs and needs only 11 inches x 17 inches of level table space to sit. So, HCD if you need absolute max productivity and/or very large sew field and don't need to move it much, Voyager if a roughly 12" x 12" sew field is all you'll need, and/or if compact size (for smaller rooms or easier to take on the road) is more important. Both machines produce embroidered goods at a good rate for profitability when set up and run correctly.
