- Azzura is an impressive 96' sailing yacht built by Jongert and designed by Doug Peterson.
She has many unique features that would be hard pressed to find on other yachts her size; including a patented retractable keel and a garage to store a tender along with other large gear / items. She is truly one of a kind for her size.
I had the privilege of living and working on Azzura for five months and can tell you that she has been meticulously maintained in every way and comes with a large inventory of tools and spare parts.
She is ready to be sailed around the world!

Beautiful boat...great family sailboat, also I will have no problem to go on some expedition..full of adventure around the world...dreamyacht..very nice..

Yes, the flicking doesn't give you a chance to study the boat. Kinda made me sea-sick ;-)

Interesting keel. Nice boat - I think, but am I the only one annoyed by the rapid flashes of shots? It's like "what the heck do they not want me to focus on"? Holy crap!

Keel was problematic from day one. Ram seal and eventually piston replacement. Hopefully fixed 19 yrs later. Helped commish this boat.
I was going to comment, asking about the keel. Then I read your comment. I like the idea of a lifting keel. In theory, the design is a perfect solution. I haven't seen any other yards build a boat with a keel like that. So, I assumed the keel caused more problems than it was worth.

I was thinking about getting it as a tender for my big boat, but that keel thing killed the deal.

Keel might be a problem, but I just love the idea.

A retractable KEEL???? Wow.
Folding. Retractable would actually be better imho, folding it like that seems like a gimmick.
Fabulous yacht, some great images, but eriously, what's with all the rapid flashing shot changes? Frankly couldn't even bear to watch to the end, very childish and amateurish. Also should mention that folding keel, what happens if it fails in the up position? Worse still if it retracts on its own mid ocean whilst beating? No, a cute idea, but too risky

Ah... the music. Sorry to complain but for future why not just the sounds of the ocean?
That boat is only fit for very calm water sailing. If that keel even hears about a storm over the radio, it will rip itself right off the hull.
Reality will rip that keel off so fast, you won't even be able to say, "Wow, that's a cool keel."

my god--can somebody stop 14 year olds from editing sailboat vids ? would a guy willing to spend the money on a 96 footyacht make a decision based on this video? it does not add excitement to the video, only frustration at not getting a look at it
it is too big and too expensive to buy, so why would you even look at it... plus nobody needs this big of a boat. me and my 35' can do circles around this monstrosity... it is not even fast, just stable

Id rather watch a sailboat video edited by a toddler than thr highest produced powerboats featured in that channel. They are incredibly polluting and out of synch with the sea.
