With the recent things they said in the podcast they were just on it sounds like they'll be fixing a lot of problems with the game or at least are aware of the problems with RNG affixed, the PUBG/Fortnite Ring, Trade, etc and are looking to fix/remove them so it's all Ws from here it seems
i dont even know who the cleric is, but do you not play in groups? they were stacked up in a tight space with no way for the cleric to phase through his teammates to get to the barb. the cleric was backing up so that his squishier teammates had at least a chance to escape, not to run away from the barb in fear.

If you have the perk to move 10 steps, you can either crouch walk or walk (with left shift). I tried it a bit and it seems like normal walking gets you further.
