If you didn't notice that board battle by Lorentz, against the Habs, you were asleep. It made me go, " Woah, who was that?" It was a heavy play. He would make this a tougher team to play against. I need to see more but he didn't stand out for any bad plays.
Easy problem to solve. Stop being so dramatic. Lilligren, Timmins, and that mope, Robertson. Shed those salaries and all will be well. Do the math, you will see that I am right.
@@Matt.d13 if you look at comparable players to liljegren, as in early to mid twenties with similar point totals he is actually getting paid slightly less then the others, if he can stay healthy he’ll be a 40 point guy playing around 20 minutes a night so I think 3 mil is fair. But kampf is definitely over paid. I’d rather see them move reaves and timmies before anything else
Lorentz would be nice to sign ...... but the way Tre thinks, pachoretty will be paid.....which would be a major mistake Jarnkrok, and Kamph could be spent as well.
Lorentz won a puck battle in a preseason game versus an all prospect line-up and its some kind of leaf existential crisis? Sign him, Don't sign him, 19 points of Steve Lorentz isn't going to make a bit of difference.
not about points lmao that's why they got 34 16 88 and 91 for points, they need ppl like this to wear down the opponents for board battles and for penalty kills, i think he is excactly what they need he is basically a bigger stronger david kampf but they can get him for cheaper how would u not want that
@@StoutPrince5057 well put, and points are definitely not everything. Marner could put up 120pts by end of season and I would offload him. Playoffs are slightly more important, and grit is needed
If Lorentz and Patches are going to make the squad, 2 people that are currently under contract have to be traded. Kampf and Jarnkrok are at the top of the list
Just a thought - is Tavares a player who will put the Leafs before him and spend the regular season on LTIR? It would cure all the Leafs' cap issues. He gave up the C so maybe???
Lorenz is a beast
Kampf & Jarnkrok can both go that gives you 4.5 mil to sign Patches & Lorentz and still have cap room.
Except Kamph and Jarnkrok are better players.

Trade: Kampf $2.4M, Jarnkrok $2.1M, Timmins $1.1M
Domi Matthews Marner
A.Nylander W.Nylander Knies
Pacioretty Tavares Robertson
McMann Lorentz Holmberg/Reaves/Dewar
Rielly Tanev
OEL Liljegren
Benoit McCabe/Hakanpaa/Webber
Woll
Stolarz/Murray
I like it, but I think Timmins is a keeper. He played a great game last night. Solid D, moved the puck well, was poised, and blocked a ton of shots.
Berube loves the Heavy Play. You wont win a Cup without it under Coach.

Yep trade away a good young defender that way the leafs d core can be all but one player in their 30’s
Robertson has been playing well they won't trade him lol. Timmins and Liljergren could go though.
@@nukeshock7305 To be real I think Liljergren is overpaid - so is kampf.

Sorry but your ego is too big to communicate with others. Try being kinder,
Were gonna need Robertson once he gets his confidense going this guy can score

Leafs need more like Lorenz and a lot less floaters .. kempf . Timmins. Lilligren etc etc
If Lorentz is signed, it will be Reaves being waived that makes room for him.

Holmberg really doesn't have a role. His offense isn't great, he doesn't hit, and there were already better penalty-killers on the team before Lorenz.
Kamph and Jarnkrok are better players
@@wihamakiCoach really likes him, for a reason. Error-free hockey, moves his feet, skates north.
Lorenz, Reeves. Two thirds of a great checking line.

Easily the dumbest take. Parking a 80 point guy on LTIR
Yeah… why would they do that… a PPG guy for a 20 point guy maybe!?!? I mean, I’m a Canucks fan so by all means please do it. 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Clue96 the guy is an idiot thinking they should park JT on IR.
@@mattm5786worked for the lighting with kuch
You really think the Tavares will pass the league medical scrutiny for LTIR? It has to be proven to the league using the league's medical people.
Send Timmons packing
Lorentz is a big Zero.
