Watching your videos motivates me so much to work more on my costumes and to put more details in them. ☺️ Can't wait to see how your future projects turn out and keep inspiring us with your talent! ❤️😉
You got some lovely fabrics. The coming year is going to be so much fun. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with these fabrics and trims of course.
I'm wondering when you went to St. Hubert street: I was there this Saturday afternoon with my girlfriend! Maybe we were close without knowing!! :) C&M Textiles is the perfect store for threads and other accessories! Sam Textiles is one of my favorites: they renovated the place and the alley and fabrics are aesthetically clean and nicely ordered!
This vlog footage and trip was from November 12th! So a few weekends ago now. Takes a while to edit and then fall into the every second week upload schedule ahaha! C&M was the only one I was familiar with since its a chain and also in Ottawa!
I'm glad I have no room and very little disposable income cause I actually live at a walking distance from there and my hoarding energy is STRONG 😂 And I could relate to seeing the colours different outside, I once bought black fabric, was super careful making sure it wasn't a really deep blue, once at home it was clearly dark dark brown 🙃In store lighting makes it so difficult for fabric shopping...

Maaan I love and hate going there 😂 its like you said, you have to reserve like a whole day to go shop there 😂
Yup! No such thing as popping into a store quick and leaving again. Too many things!

Oh gosh I am glad I don't live that close but am also jealous simultaneously. And the colours struggle is SO REAL!
Lmao it's true that you need the whole day to check every fabric stores that Jean-Talon has.
Been shopping there for almost 10 years and never thought of asking for swatches 🥲 Love the fabrics and sparkles you got!
Most places won't offer unless you ask!
