For some reason sub zero and scorpion are safer when using tremor I believe the frames are different with them. -7 to be exact. Where as any other character is unsafe. I assume it’s a bug
@@sayerzaurrini3796I was about to say it shouldn't be -7 but should be -5 then I realized I read it wrong and thought you were talking about the forward rock punch instead of up rock punch for a second. I prefer forward rock punch though, with most characters it creates a little more than sweep distance and is -5 when blocked. Use the right characters that have more push back on block with their strings in general and adding that forward rock punch will put you at jump distance or so.
Can you do a video of how to deal with Johnny cage and Kung Lao because I got sent to losers bracket and was one step to be in stream lobbies and this dude used the Lao and johny which was even hard to open him up.In addition, in the losers bracket I bump into another player using johny and kung Lao again. It is a huge problem and it’s so not fair man 😢
unfortunately tackling teams (and considering kameos) is just a whole new layer of complexity. ill probably make some vids covering certain teams/mus but those are gonna come out way slower as theyre more complicated than just showing "punishable moves"
@Shenles Is there any way to contact NRS to make any balance change suggestions? There's a huge deal breaking issue with Tremor. You probably already know this but if you attack and hit the kameo, you'd be able to cancel your jab/poke/string into a special move. This is a huge problem for Tremor and some characters that have excellent synergy with this kameo. Take Smoke/Tremor for example; executing Smoke's core gameplan ( doing a string/normal attack and then canceling it into EX Smoke Bomb for invisibility ) requires an ambush assist in order to make himself safe. However, if you ( as the opponent) successfully manage to hit Tremor with a jab/poke ( while he's being used as an ambush to make Smoke's ex bomb safe ) then you can cancel your jab/poke into a special move and hit/interrupt Smoke while he's in mid air and punish him. Shao's D1 into Devastator ( db3 ) can easily make Smoke's mind game completely useless. This also works with other characters as well. This is also an issue with other ambush assists ( Kano, Cyrax, Goro ) because they always apear infront of the main fighter/player. It's difficult to explain it through text but I hope you understand what I'm trying to convey. The design choice of being able to cancel a poke into a special move if you hit kameo is extremely baffling to me. Unfortunately since I don't have a large following or any influence so I won't be able to discuss this issue and make them atleast aware of it.
sup pk thanks for the detailed write up 1. not that I know of. tho your best bet is on twitter as some members of the staff are active ln there. i imagine they get a ton of @s complaining abt the game or being told things tho so just keep that in mind 2. honestly even if its not an intentional design choice its probably gonna stay. tremor position when called also allows him to be used as a shield vs single hitting moves that would otherwise connect with the character (projectiles like lao hat for example) so sounds like theres pros and cons to it
Crystalline Forward Assist is also a projectile reflector, isn't it? Regarding Crystalline Armor, it is slow to start up and isn't nearly as oppressive as its MKX iteration. Strong, but fair.
