Can you imagine if the Raiders passed on Brock Bowers and the Rams got him. We'd have to listen to the league talk about how good he is and how we blew it again.
I come from the John Madden Raider Fan Finishing School. Circa 1973-1975. We have been taking advantage of the media and the Shield dissing us. WE ARE THE DISS> EMBRACE IT.
JPJ should have the biggest impact, not just because how good he is but because he fills a void on the line. A great O Line makes the whole offese better in every facet. Parham/James/JPJ should be a great interior line combo. Getsy needs to make a concerted effort to get Bowers. When you have a guy that talented you gotta create ways to get him the ball.
I say Bowers will shine the most.. JOJ is gonna be a tank, and everyone is gonna overlook it because he plays G. Also. Laube could end up shining more than all of them. We'll see
@@zacharycrago2753 hopefully they both ball out, it's been a long time since the raiders got two impact players out of one draft. Getsy needs to get Bowers the ball. Getsy the big x factor
Dylan Laube, might surprise people if they put him in the back field. Hopefully they don't just use him on just special teams. Really hoping he will be the next McCaffrey
Please don't use Hernandez as a comparison for my man Brock Bowers! I know what you're getting at but there's got to be someone else you can compare him to!
@richardmiller3146 I used him because he was gronks second! And was quit good. Unfortunately, his character was not! This will be the winning difference between the 2! Brock is actually a lil better coming out of school! And will excell in this offense! Really sad story hernandez... so much promise! Brock won't have that story! Appreciate you looking out for your boy! He is our boy now:) !
I believe Laube is going to be a surprise. Tucker is going to be even better. I don’t agree with Andrew on how offense looks without Bowers. We saw when Mayer was healthy and all were playing. Tucker was open many times. Tae is Tae. Zeus was looking like Jacobs. And everyone is forgetting how good Jacobi was. He was probably in top 10 for best #2 WR in league and if not a rookie QB would have really been dangerous. Bowers makes this an explosive offense but is only as good as coordinator who creates the plays. I think this offense with good QB play can put up points for sure.
he definitely has potential all his measurements and his athletic scores stick out. i believe antonio pierce and guys like nate hobbs could be huge for Decamerion development.
@@bageltortilla4057 I really do hope so. I mean he played 2 solid starter years in the sec. Recorded a great 40 time. May have to work on ball and playing hands and double moves. Which Is ongoing work for a db to practice in the off season. AP Is gonna play the best folks, no politics
@@Scotty2Hotty4 well i know one thing for sure if he puts in the work, we got ourselves a kick ass late round DB. and guys like maxx crosby were late picks so it’s totally possible he could end up a top 10 cb especially being built like he is
@@bageltortilla4057 yea man I’m really banking on the coaches locking in on immediately bringing the best out of him. I really think we’ll have a stout squad this year.
Excellent points, thank you. You look at last year as well after Antonio Pierce took over, and the defense dominated. Brock Bowers could be that extra piece that takes the offense this year to a whole other level.
45yr. Fan and SB XV attendee. Ill be happy with some front office stability including Coaches. Raiders have a lot to overcome in the Division alone. It feels like we made some headway. I hope that feeling isnt the Burrito I had for lunch. RNFL
I think Laube was drafted to address the new kickoff return change. Without Renfow, we need someone who can make a difference there and that’s not a full speed ahead runner.
Interesting..too early to know for sure, but sounds like they see Bowers as potential cornerstone piece for the offense? One of them at least. Intriguing.
While I ageee with you here that Myers is a very good player… I think the hosts message that he doesn’t really strike fear into the opponent..: he is very good (not sure about best wr 2 but he’s a very solid wr 2). (Nakua rams) ((smith eagles) are some other good ones off the top of my head but bowers is that extra weapon we lacked that should open it up for the offense…. Myers as wr 2 is solid… Myers as a wr 2 with an elite TE/WR like bowers.. much better!
No, no! Didn't you hear the media say Bowers was a bad pick? Yep, that's right, none of them could figure out why we picked the best player in the SEC, and immediately pronounced our draft a failure.
MM won the same award that BB did in college. Those two were too dawgs for three or four years. Now the fact that BB can play anywhere a weapon can be is the spectacular plus. But don’t sleep on MM. our offense has the potential to be unstoppable by week 7
What award is that? Certainly not the John Mackey Award given to the top TE in college football. Brock won that award the last 2 years (only 2-time winner) and Trey McBride and Kyle Pitts won the years before Bowers won (Brock actually had an argument to win as a freshman which would have been unreal to win the award all 3 years of his college career).
It seems we nailed this draft… I also don’t know if this is just an explosion of UA-camrs talking nfl now and the raiders especially have a lot, so could just be hype, but I’m liking what I hear so far.
I know you said to name a rookie other than bowers and I can't not saying the other draft picks aint gonna be good or that they weren't good draft picks bowers is gonna take the raiders to that dynamic explosive level that the raiders have been lacking!!!!!!!!
JPJ from Oregon is somone who i've got my eye on and will do big things for our O line! Looking forward to an exciting season for our Raiders! Cheers- sir whiskey ray
Please let Brock have his own room. Mike Mayer is jealous of him and it might affect Brocks production..please don't ruin Brocks future production because of intimidation

Rams get one of the biggest draft steals in history! Would be the headlines
Brock Powers,Jackson Powers Johnson , Dylan Laube , Tommy Eichenberg, also the DB from Air Force all these guys have a chance to shine this year!
The rb from New Hampshire...he'll get a screen on 3rd and 8 and run it 70 yards for TD. Very special talent!
Malcom Koonce last year turned up nicely and next year I feel like Tyee Wilson will turn that under 500 snaps and 3.5 sacks into a 12 sack season
Bowers can be tight end 1 fullback 1 halfback 4 slot receiver 2 and outside receiver 5. That’s a lot of other players we can keep.
😮
He could be the hammer at the goal line as halfback
As great as Zamir was in his last 4 games, he wasn’t in the end zone much

Also what he brings to that position with his style of play which is Raider Way🏴☠️
I just feel that defensive line is going to takeover games and make the backend and offense look really better than people expect
JPJ is going to dominate the inside of the offensive line and the press conferences. He is a Raider to the core.

Trey Taylor will be a starter before season ends. Upside is way off the chart!
Laube makes the biggest immediate impact because of STs. Ability to catch, elusiveness on draw plays etc

Curious about the Safety out of the Air force. Looking forward to seeing them in action.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if Dylan Laube turned out to be a mini mccaffrey! Late pick doing great!
