Well, Catherine of Aragon was in fact 6 years older than Henry, but this girl seems younger than the actor who plays Henry. Anyway, a gorgeous lady, I remember her from the GoT.
Even though I know this isn’t completely historically accurate I want to believe Henry and Catherine adored each other and had extreme chemistry the moment they meet. The actors do a great job portraying that, but considering Henry was 10 and she was 15 it’s hard to believe they, or at least Catherine were so enamored by each other that only a few episodes later they want to get married
Apparently Henry had a crush on her since the beginning. Catherine didn't, but by the time they got married in 1509, they were both deeply in love, and remained that way for many years 😊😍
Katherine of Aragon daughter of kings ... her story is quite interesting ... she even worked as an ambassador in the English court when prince Arthur died and Henry VII knew that she was still a virgin and denied to give her a widow’s pension ... Henry VIII was 6 years younger than her when the kings of England and Spain agreed on their marriage ... Henry was not much interested but once he saw her HE TRULY FELL IN LOVE ❤️and was loyal to his beloved queen for almost 16 years but....
What an amazing woman she was 😍 son underrated. A woman who had HER OWN ACCOMPLISHMENTS other than a marriage and ignored for the sake of what? A 3 year lasting Queen who only look after for the benefits of herself and her family, one who didn't care about or did anything for the Kingdom of England or people they ruled over, bring nothing but harm to the poor and powerless, a briber. Thank god Elizabeth was not brought up by her and watched her growing up.
Tbh, I don't think it would have made much difference to Elizabeth. They wouldn't be allowed to see each other often, and the only thing it would change would be Elizabeth's mistrust of marriage and her heart-hardenedness.
The actors have amazing chemistry.
charlette hope is so beautiful! they chose the perfect cathrine
agreed!
Finally a video about Henry and his true queen! Please make more! I love this vid and this series

Sad how Henry later fought just as hard to divorce CoA as he did to marry her.

Do you really believe that a ruler who spent so many hours per day in prayer could be effective? Sheesh.
@@leanie9660+ Katherine did quite a bit in the 20 years she was queen, daily prayer or no.
@@leanie9660 Catherine did a *lot* as queen. She did so much more than just praying many hours a day. You clearly know nothing about her.
agreed!!!
