Alt Ego is a duo that performs a wide variety of alternative rock music including psychedelic rock, art rock, and post-punk.
They specialize in recreating performances by some of the most renowned artists in these genres with great detail, primarily through live performance.
Alt Ego utilizes live looping to progressively add layers of instrumentation throughout each performance, and also incorporates pre-recorded instrumentation with the goal of achieving full arrangement recreations of each song.
Unless otherwise specified, all instruments and lead vocals performed live or recorded prior to performance are performed by Ryan. Acoustic drums, electronic drums, sound effects, and backing vocals are performed by Craig.
