Gen. Katumba Wamala warns those intent on disrupting elections

  • The Chief of Defense Forces General Katumba Wamala has cautioned against causing chaos during the elections. Katumba urged Ugandans to vote peacefully, adding that the army will give back-up to police during the process.
    Katumba spoke at the launch of the Army week that ends with the ‘Tarehe Sita commemoration on 6th February. In this week, the UPDF will be involved in various activities like spraying households for bedbugs in Kampala’s suburb, general cleaning and giving free treatment to the people.

    I would appreciate more if it was done not only during this period.
    Ugandans need these services every day above all, sensitisation on the fruits of maintaining their environment clean and safe.
