Great Video Lads. Will sub thank you for recognising Oxford have some fight and are not the pushovers the league expected and the usual previews from opposing fans are how many we are going to Score against us. Was really good to see Luton in the prem last season and how well you have done in the championship the seasons before we all remember the lower league dark days and we are glad to be back and you proved it can be done. I hope for one would love to come to your pace and turn you over but It is going to be a very tough game for us a point would be a great result as we have differing expectations this season. I hope this is not the game you get your act together but I am sure you will soon and be fighting at the top end of the league by the end of the season.
@@JakeGreen86 thanks for the kind words! Even if we do get our act together in this game, it’s not going to be cut and dry. Phillips and Brannagan will be huge misses, but quite rightly so you have a lot of threat, defensive discipline and organisation. Tomorrow will be a proper battle, and I just want Luton to turn up for it.
@@TheOKFootballShow I hope it is good game would rather it be a Saturday game. Brannagan is a big miss but Des put a lot of thought into the incomings in the summer and midfield is by far our strongest position so far the players filling in have stepped up. The fan base is well behind the team and manager so as long as we see heart in the performance win or lose will be happy. As you said every game is very hard in this league best of luck.
Nothing I disagree with, guys. Haven’t been this depressed about Luton since the desert days of non-league. In a short space of time we’ve lost our mojo. My hope and expectation is the board have already had some frank conversations with Edwards …the way you would expect any good top team in any organisation to do when there is clearly something going badly wrong. If the board are sitting on their hands because of the ill-advised 4 year deal they are being badly remiss.
The midfield is a problem. And of course we have several players who are performing way below standard...Injuries which have plagued us are still a problem too. I agree that our midfield is short, and perhaps with Nakamba and Krauss performing together in front of the back line (either a 3 or 4) we would be better served...
Gd indepth chat lads. Share all your concerns and anxieties. "Not the box!" made me laugh but it's exactly how I feel. Total respect to Oxford, they remind me of what we used to be and we have to get back some of that bite, passion and organisation if we're gona get anywhere near a top 6 finish. Gutted you didn't talk about our corners 😂 Praying for shake up in system and personnel but not holding my breath... COYH🎩
We were never going to bounce straight back this season but I do believe that Rob Edwards, like the board and the fans have an aligned long term vision for the club. Yes we have some hiccups at the moment and the team is not firing on all cylinders but for heavens sake, calling for the end of Edwards is completely the wrong thing to do. All this social media crap is toxic and eats away at the rest of the fans, the players, the management etc. this divisiveness would never have happened before social media so be aware of what you are doing and the influence you have and keep it positive!
From an Oxford fan- I’ve seen a few of your UA-cam video’s and enjoyed them .. good luck for the rest of the season after the Oxford game

Not enough time to talk about the corners 😂
Thanks for the words! Catch you in the post match?

Edwards needs to be humble and get back to basics, 4-4-2 and play alfie left wing, one midfielder holding another more advanced. Joe Taylor to start
