I agree with what you're saying. It's just that getting away from them is not always an option. As you saw, he thought he owned her. Some men will follow a woman clear across the country. Most times the police and the courts are useless. They say that their hands are tied until he crosses a line in the sand. Too often when he crosses that line, the police are much too late. Not many of us have a knight in shining armour and not all of us are lucky enough to survive.

I know that is the worst feeling a mother can feel knowing there is nothing you can do to help her because of fear and what they believe to be love. I remember crying herself to sleep over my sister. My sister came to live with us for a while she was doing okay, but he found a way to get her and the kids back with him.

Those years when it started was torture. He threatened my grandfather over A DENTIST APPOINTMENT. My dad and my aunt/my dads sister hates my mom. reason why i like going to my dads sisters house is because of my cousins, they make me feel happy all the time. Just wish my dad was nicer and normal. I think he brainwashed my aunt about it. I wish i can tell my cousins but they’re to young to understand.
