It's so weird this buff guy dressed like that performing such beautiful heartfelt songs and skillfully playing that 80s synth and a recorder. Great performance by mah boy Sufjan though.
I've watched about 7 or 8 different shows from this tour on UA-cam and they're all amazing. So glad I finally got to see my recording hero Sufjan live on this tour in the UK. It was a truly transformative concert. The sound, the lighting, the visuals, and of course the band - all phenomenal!!
+JoPoon I wasn't at the Eaux Claires festival, but after listening to this Sufjan set and the Bon Iver set, you and everybody else who was in attendance probably had the time of their lives.
Thanks so much for filming the whole thing! It was my first Sufjan Stevens concert, and if I had known what an amazing performer he was, I would have filmed the whole thing too. Very nice audio and video quality, too!

He is a man of contradictions. I think that's why I like him and his music so much. He's not afraid to be silly but always very 'real' too.
