Frame ten was the most brilliant game of snooker I've ever seen. Robertson's ability to so precisely place the balls where it would keep Trump playing defense, which is not where Trump wanted to be, was astounding. Robertson was trying to force fouls so he could catch up in points. Amazing strategy well executed. That just changed my game forever.
I'm new to snooker, but this is the aspect of the game, the snooker part ( Frame 10 25:27 - 42:45 ), that has really caught my interest. The two opponents in a direct match. Robertson must try to force Trump to misses to gain points before potting the last red, while Trump, obviously is at advantage, can just wait until Robertson makes a mistake. I can see the possibilities of laying traps for each other several "draws" ahead (their superb technical abilities almost garanties that they can predict several "draws" ahead I presume). Is that something snooker players incorporate in their tactics? (Example: Things like tempting the opponent with what might seem like a possibility to pot the red. 28:22 Robertson lays a difficult but playable position for Trump who misses the red pot, and then Robertson layup a position 29:16, where Trump makes a fault by holing the white. Ok this might be a stretch to think Robertson could anticipate all this, but you get the idea?) PS! Sorry for the terms I'm (mis)using. Very new to snooker.
Snooker es el mejor juego en la tierra y estos muchachos son un acto de clase. Los verdaderos caballeros, como la mayoría de los jugadores de billar. fans de O´sullivan & Trump & Robertson .
OMG - I was shocked to see (at 43:20) just how FAR away the majority of the spectators are sitting! How at that distance could they possibly be able to appreciate (i.e. assess) the difficulty or ease of any shot?
Although I generally agree with you, I nonetheless sometimes appreciate the more restrained commentary that manages to keep itself in check except when they perceive the audience may benefit from some nuanced observation. (But again, ...I'm nearly in complete agreement with you.👍)
Man I live in Berlin, found out about this on the Friday! Tickets were sold out obviously :( At least Ronnie wasn't playing otherwise would have 100% broken in!
Help, I'm confused, at I think 75-33 in frame 10 (around 35 minutes), why did they keep exchanging safeties? Also, I thought a score of 75 didn't leave enough points on the table for the outcome to change. Can someone explain?
Jesus Garcia only 2 snookers required for a black ball tie. He had a possibility of making 35 points to score 68. And then two snookers which give him an opportunity to level
i dont understand the foul and a miss rule. In the first frame, he clearly made his best attempt to hit the red, but it just went a little wide. did the referee really think he went in between them two balls on purpose or something
These players are good enough to hit the ball almost 100 percent of the time. The miss in trying to leave the balls "safe". It is impossible to tell if they made their "best" effort to hit the ball, so must be a miss. Often they take the hardest ball on the table to hit in order to get "safe". The old rule was silly, you could deliberately miss a ball going very close to it and get safe. That was considered an attempt even though the player had no intention of hitting the ball they were snookered on. The level of player is why 99.99 percent of missed balls are considered misses. My level of snooker I'd get called for a miss if I fluked hitting a ball when snookered 😂😂
Bloody Aussies in the audience, "Bugger!". Frame 14 was a turning point for Robbo, dare l say- " Fine Cotton" owners would have been proud of both players, Trump gifted Robbo the 15th frame by playing uncharacteristically bad, then turned on the next frame playing better and winning the match

The safety duels were at times quite impressive.
They are the best prayer in the world.
It is because of his outrageous play why I love watching Judd
That tenth frame was spectacular. Judd was absolute steel.

So wonderful . Snooker without commentary. I usually have it on mute but can enjoy the atmosphere. Thank you - please post more if you can.

Did you see that switch to left hand by Trump in the final frame? Who does he think he is, Ronnie O'Sullivan?

Why do they always mess around with the positioning of the cue ball before they start potting?
So it doesn't cause the cue BALL from kicking the object BALL.

At 1:26:46 is not a foul shot? The gap between cue ball and object ball is so close yet he follow through.
Cue ball pauses briefly and then keeps following. With a push it would not have paused.
What have you been smoking? And can I have some?

Hi
unwatchable....commentary has been replaced by coughing
Wow
One man in audience was continousely doing cought.reffre should kick him out
Remember, It's not the cough that carries you off, It's the coffin they carry you off in.
The two top players in world at moment I would say.ronnie on top form may be better but he's not on top form much at moment.
Nice, come to join with billiards WTF shoot
