Not bad at all! 60MPH without any fanfare or drama out of a stock 125cc scooter? Not bad at all, I'm impressed, imo it'd make an awesome daily commuter, great video, brother! 😁✌
My brother got one of these after he lost his license riding a Kawasaki ninja. He dressed it up so people would think it’s a 50cc which doesn’t require a license in my state. Fun little scooter.
Don't want to burst anyone's bubble... But those scooters speedometers read 5 mph faster than you're actually going.. so basically you had it up to 55 mph which is still not bad
The CBR 125 can do about 80-85 mph. Still not great but at least you can get going in town and sort of keep up on the highway. And that thing gets like 100+ mpg, similar to the Zuma.
Love your videos. I'm 215lbs, just looking for an around the town fun errand runner. Will the 125 get me up to speed okay? I heard you say your about 145lbs vs my 215lbs.
Mathew I'm 240 pounds and I love the Zuma 125! I accelerate to 50 quick and my top speed on flat is 53 uphill it's 47. I have a buddy that put a jug kit on his and he can get his uo to 82mph and he weighs 225
@@SmallEngineVelocity Hello, yesterday went riding all over town for fun and now has 4760 miles as it was really beautiful day for riding in Northern Ca. I can get it to 61 one time and it is too scary for me ! I am thinking about doing a 158 cc BBK from Race Concepts but have no skills to install it. I am trying to make it a perfect high quality 150 cc bike what more can you ask for ? It still has its orignal battery and starts well. I installed the NGK spark plug few days ago and seems to help in performance wise. It really is a great bike so do more Zuma 125 videos such as installing BBK kit maybe?
if thats your weight, i think the xuma 125 would only run its top speed of 45 miles, i think it's still decent for a fuel efficient scooter. but i think just put a good fully synthetic engine oil plus an oil additive, it would run better. 👌🏻
I'm 6'3 230lbs. I've gotten up to 62mph downhill, and 60mph on straights. But it easily propels me to a nice 58mph and maintains it on a short highway cruise. I do this with both my Zuma 125. One has a windshield and one doesnt. However mine are 2009&2011 FYI
Please find time to respond im spending my last on a venom 2019 like the one u ride in your vid Are they reliable as in holding up.an i live in tc an work in Galveston do u think the 250cc can handle that commute to work 5 days a week @65mph
Texas City to Galveston 5 days a week. I don’t see why it wouldn’t hold up. Just do regular oil changes and to floor it all they way there all the time and you should be fine. Is there a reason for the Venom x22gt ? Because it’s an automatic ?
Do you drive it over the causeway? I have friends that live on the island and I was just thinking that I probably could ride it all the way from Houston to Galveston via hwy 3
@@ClaymorePvP More like 10mph faster. Think about this, the Honda ruckus is a 50cc and maxes at 40mph. The Zuma is 125cc and gets 60mph. Do the math in case you think another 25cc will equate to 15-20mph difference.
Lol, I feel like your comparing this to a Chinese gy6 150cc. If you watch this channel I am very experienced in Chinese scooters. This is 100x more reliable.
That scoot boogies and it gets up there quickly!

Hey man. Will this thing cruise at 50mph without reving way out and sounding like it's going to explode?
Yes , 50mph is pretty easy but tens we I live in super flat Houston so no hills
@@SmallEngineVelocity cool. I got a flat road too.
I have a Zuma 125. I love it.
I can cruise at 58 to 60 MPH and hit 63 once going down hill.
It almost seems bullet proof
What's the real mpg on it?

im 300lb and I can get it up to 51 on a straightaway... soooo not bad
The rev limiter is kicking in, you are getting a tad higher than most.
That was a rev limit ... hmm

Not bad 60mph Ceasar!
What’s the difference zuma 125 and the 125 ws
There is a clone of the zuma from china of course the quality is not really too good but it is 1500 and it goes 60+ mph

How does it do with two people riding?

Yes
