Say what you want about Tron: Legacy's story and acting, but my word is it a truly gorgeous film to watch with an absolute killer soundtrack. Take away dialogue and story, just watch for cinematography and score, and it is a pretty good movie.
Speaking of Captain Marvel. I think the actress from Dark Fate should replace Brie Larson. She has the same looks so, i doubt people would notice. Shes more badass. At least in Dark Fate she was.

To be honest when you compare Tron Legacy to the original Tron, as a sequel it did the franchise justice. I could see an entire line of movies or shows based on this as it's not about the characters but the story of human vs machine as a whole, so you could toss whoever into whatever roles and it would do just as good.

It leant waaay too much on the stunning visuals and superb score, but the plot and characters sucked, even compared to the original. (Unlike, say 'Dredd' (2012)). Also, not enough Recognizers.
I agree - up to a point, and with a technical caveat. I think the song would have worked awesomely. But - there's too much in this video that gives away certain plot and visual elements. You'd want to cut it down to about 1/3 the length, tighten up the editing so as to only hint and engage the curiosity and WOW factor. Things you HAVE to remove - just for example, are any cuts with 'Old' Flynn, and the blood drip that tips off Rinzler to Sam's nature as a "user". Since those are major plot give-always. Quorra shots - leave in. Same with Clu. Etc... Etc... This is a fantastic music video, don't get me wrong! Totally rocking to it!
Daft Punk and Joseph Trapanese are definitely a pretty big part of why the movie is well regarded, but you can't deny the outstanding digital and practical effects, combat choreography, and the great acting quality.
So cool how you kept the beat with the screen transitions. Precise editing like that must have taken forever! I have not seen video compilation and timing done so well before. Better than any commercial to advertise this movie. Put me in the mood to go watch Tron again!
