- Wolves can make a variety of vocalizations. They growl, whimper, whine, bark, huff, howl... Although the wolf's howl is has been the inspiration for films, essays, poems, etc... we think there is another sound that evokes equal levels of emotion and excitement - a wolf pup's hiccup!
Eight-week-old gray wolf pup Nikai is the newest adorable addition to the Wolf Conservation Center's Ambassador Pack in South Salem, NY! As an Ambassador, Nikai will help WCC wolves Atka, Zephyr, and Alawa open the door to understanding the importance and plight of their wild kin. If you're unable to hear and see the kiddo in person, please join us online or on Facebook to follow his growth and adventures. It should be fun (and educational) watching him thrive and become yet another powerful presence in the fight to preserve wolves' rightful place in the environment.

foxdemon215 Well, you're partially correct lol, but a baby is a CHILD. Wolves, or animals for that matter, are in no shape or form "children". Again, not exactly in the sense humans think it is, at least. It's something we interpreted into an animals behavior. When kids are growing up, they'll often call young animals "baby bunny, baby cow, etc" so people catch on to that and later think it must be okay.
And a child is a "young human being below the age of puberty or below the legal age of majority".

@@lillymcabee8771 nothing should stop you if it's something you really want. But another living creature isn't a possession to be had. He's his own and needs to be treated as such. You might want to check out working on a conservation or in a zoo. You have to provide for his needs, and that includes providing a proper environment ect. The reason I speak so strongly on this...as a kid I spent time in Colorado Spgs. Long story short someone wanted a gorilla..to be an attraction in the nearby shopping center (not a mall, they didn't exist in 1967) there was a gorilla kept in a large concrete room with someone's idea of Africa I guess painted on the walls. This poor guy lived for years in that concrete room. I know that is extreme, but again Wolves need terrain and special care ..and they will destroy a home...on and on...if you are a young person your passion for this may inspire you to educate yourself and do good for wolf kind🐺good luck!

actually, wolves admire human creatures. there is an old and special bond between humans and wolves.
at least some people have that connection with them.
Although, big and ancient creatures, like a wolf for example, knows that the most dangerous creature on this planet is a human with fear around him.
so, if they see someone like you, they will bite your head off xD
When you see how loving they are towards eachother, it makes you want that so bad, and you learn that loyalty is key to being happy. It comes with a price though. Once heartbreak strikes, its almost impossible to break that connection. I got dumped six months ago, and I'm still so broken and confused
