This mod idea has really come a long way, I remember playing a mod with the same premise like 10 years ago (that’s not hyperbole either) and it was just a mess of new game implementations that were kinda hard to even access and the helpers didn’t actually do anything, they were only there for RP purposes.
The recommended builds to start this mod is the builder, lumberjack, miner and warehouse, after the first 4, you need houses before anyone else will join the colony
those "spinny things" 1:52 are from the ars nouveau mod, they are entirely peaceful and can be tamed to help with tree things! I just think this makes it much funnier when he talks about going to war with them.

Kevin, i know this isn't stardew, but was watching one of your videos on it and thought of a challenge idea; turn on random packages for the community centre, and each season can be a different challenge. Something like no farming in the spring, no fishing in the summer, no mining in the winter, no killing in the fall or something like that
Kevin you can change the build presets to not be made of birch. I think there is a build for each type of wood and some stylized builds like medieval. Edit: nvm just watched Kevin find out for himself.
