I've been listening to these guys for about 5 years now and have seen then live only twice.......they are a must see. I've seen alot of live shows in my life including 6 Dead shows. These guys bring it every time.
I'm a chef by profession. I mix alot of things into a pot and hope it all comes out alright. These guys just mixed funk, jazz and blue grass into a pot and poured out the best bowl of soup I've ever tasted!!!! HOMERUN
God I hope these guys come to bama sometime. I just started listening to em last year. Cant believe i missed so many years of awesome shows! Thanks to archive.org I got exposed to em. Their music brings me to tears and makes me dance my ass off. This vid is frickin clear as they come. My wife said this is my theme song. jeez thanks for the great feed evenstev
Everyone has a right to make their own style and the way they approach music, just discovering these guys (unfortunately) and digging it. I wish negative people would just keep to themselves......
Ive only seen em do this once at the Warfield in SF on west coast 'flu tour.' Everyone was getting sick as hell. I missed 2 shows and the band canceled the Tahoe show.
Heard of these guys when i first moved to Colorado from a cool lady . We ended up getting day drunk at a bar , goin back to lodge she worked at and getting naked in the hot tub thinking it was much later than 630 pm , which it was . A A family walked out , busted She got fired and had to move home 😮💨 I still feel terrible Every time hear railroad earth i think of her and hope things improved for her after that fateful winters night in the mountains
Man - if jam bands could only figure out the magic of dynamics. Get the F quiet when someone (especially a mando) is doing a solo. You don't need 7 guys playing all the time. These guys are good but also really irritating. That could be the worst guitar solo since the last Wilco album.
Kinda of missed the point of their style... like a bluegrass band not like rock band. Bluegrass bands don't get the F quiet, at best the back away from the mic a bit..
I know this is old but they didn't write this song for this band it was written with todd's band from good homes and they were similar but a few different instruments and the dynamics were pretty spot on and it still sounds good...
One of the best jams ever by one of the best bands of all time.

That is what they do and they do it well.
