One tip that I would give is to not be afraid of paying the shipping price. I am ready to pay extra 50-100/- rupees instead of spending another 300/- on another product that I didn't need before. Also, we need the refills of moisturizers, I hate the amount of plastic I end up using every month.

Exactly...a Face wash, a good serum for my acne, moisturizer and sunscreen.
No bullshit extra skin care.
My cousin and I do share skincare and stuff like that if she buys something and doesn't end up using it then she gives it to me I try that if it suits I use it if it doesn't we end up giving it to someone else that way this year we both decluttered a lot also I have told myself I won't buy anything other than facewash moisturizer and sunscreen before I use everything that I already have. I feel like you can also share your skincare with your mom dad or brother I do this too. Trust me my dad loves using facewashes 😂😂😂❤ Try giving it to someone else if it's not suiting you or you have two three same type of products. You will feel better.

@@AninditaChakravartyI understand. I wouldn’t buy that phone case either but I see it could come in handy for some people. I’ve seen people who are obsessed with lip balms praising it because of being able to carry two essentials at once and it is quiet convenient for them.

I love love love this video! I wish all content creators become more and more aware of how much consumerism they're promoting every day. I'm so glad I found your video. Please also talk about fandom merchandise. We really don't need to own every funko pop, every keychain and every tshirt of every series/movie/anime/books that we like. We need to learn how to create less garbage and how to hoard less! Also a separate bag/footwear for every outfit in our wardrobe!
Yeah absolutely we'd like a de-influencing series. This is a very good way to actually educate and connect to your audience. I wasn't really expecting this kind of a video. And the video was brutally honest.. It was clearly visible that you were actually thinking about it for a long long time because the products were really diverse and almost unrelated. No doubt this sort of a series might offend a couple of people because it's true a lot of people are actually blind followers of things, but that shouldn't really stop you. I really really look forward to more such videos. ♥♥♥

This is so relatable actually. I haven't really used social media, only on and off past like 4 years, mostly just youtube and thankfully thankfully I'm not gravitated easily towards stuff I don't really need. In fact from past one year, I have also been very mindful buying stuff. And not just buying but even the "aesthetics" of things looking a particular way includin people's faces, is just beyond me now. Neither do I get it nor do I feel a dire need for it. Kudos to you for making this video!

Ab aap ye socho ki naa jaane kitne bache isi depression me jite hain ki unke pass trending products nhi hain jo social media pe dikhaye jate hain.. jo earn krte hain chalo unka to fir bhi thk h, but jo earn nhi krte vo apne parents se paise maangte hain..kbhi peer pressure kbhi social media trends and what not makes us feel guilty without any reason..
I am not saying that it doesn't effect me or I have self control, but I have gone through this guilty pressure and only realized that it will never end..

I'm suffering from this i realised
For my exams I stopped everything and just studied and now I watch everything it makes my day so sad and full of insecurities i am not independent yet .
And while I was focusing on studies at that time I was feeling peaceful like my normal house with no fancy things simple , I do have good makeup products a full dressing table but still I feel I have nothing that is disgusting earlier I used to be actually so demotivated but now slowly I've learned importance of waiting for things to happen in life and not running after it like a mad person , I hardly use makeup but I need more of it I hardly hang out alot but i want different makeup different clothes ahh it's disgusting and eating me up !

Take one cartoon box or any box and pack all the stuff that you think are not so useful for you for next month, think wisely and take your time..
And include all the stuff like your makeup, shoes, dresses,crockery if you have or whatever and stay without that for a month..
Keep your basic stuff like brush comb chappal daily wear few outside clothes..rest all keep them pack and live.
And forget about it, eventually you will find out that you don't need that stuff at all but we just buy it by being influenced or impulse buying.
I am 100 % sure that when you will re open that box, you might have forgotten lot of things you had packed because we never need them from beginning..our life is running fine without those things..
I hope you will do this activity with honesty and come back here after1 month..😊good luck 👍

Actually!!! You are so right! The algorithms and the marketing just push us to constantly buy stuff! I bought 3 trail orders from Smytten and I have so many mini items but they just take up so many space with all the packaging and stuff!! Now when I get an ad I look at what I already have 4 mini moistures are enough😅 Really need a part 2 for this❤❤❤
