- Today we are taking our first train ride in Indonesia and traveling from Jakarta to Yogyakarta. We bought the economy ticket as it was cheaper but we also compare executive and economy classes of the train and show what the train offers!

Yup, especially this fuckers that think Indonesia just a poor countries that didn't know what were doing. He just like "Oh looks, the safety standards is bad", I was like "stfu", ofc it's like that because is an old rolling stock design, and I think we're the one that always break the rules and such most foreigners says, probably is a common knowledge In Indonesia but not for this guy's but I wanted to tell him that we also can read. As Indonesian myself I was wondering sometimes when I see a foreigner that complain like this, when they just paying for an economy class train or any other cheap shit that exists in Indonesia. Indonesian are friendly but if you talk shit to us we will gladly happy to talk shit back to you 😆

I prefer executive class since executive has better seats, better leg room, and stop less so it can be faster too..
I prefer the LUXURY SLEEPER CLASS. ( but, who did ask me that?) LOL
The number one rule on ordering hotel in Indonesia from any app is to NEVER order OYO hotel. I have so many bad experiences with OYO from overbookings that require weeks to get a refund, dirty rooms, hotel staff asking more money and etc. And I'm Indonesian btw.
so funny. that "granola in spicy teriyaki sauce" is actually tempe. same main ingredient but cooked differently from the tempe mendoan.
if you're on budget you should also consider taking the intercity buses. some bus operators here offer much better experience than economy train (with similar price)..

when we decide to try anything cheaper, mean we have to adjust our mind set level little bit lower. In this economic situation, don't expect more until we really got it.
I can't imagine to get Yogyakarta for around 8 hours using economy class train

I thought you never check others tourist review about hotel or the train before. The wise and smart ways always check the review from foreigner for the cheap but clean and comfy hotel.
Whoops you got the "bad" coach there. There's "premium class" which is more comfortable. I suggest to get the executive class next time if you want a comfortable ride.
5:45 try open the door and you'll get kicked out in the nearby station (this is fr) lmao. Indonesian train is pretty strict when it comes to safety and other rules. there are cases where people get kicked out (and even permanently banned from using train service) because they violate the rules.
The strugle in traveling is part of experience, i hope you can enjoy finding new things, btw tempe is future protein, is cheap but full of protein and low fat.

You know what, in the Indonesian proverb, If you stop bubbling and cooperating with the situation then you get happiness, probably because of complaining about the train toilet and you don't get a hostel room, so be nice on the trip you can be ok
As Indonesian i don't even want to get economy class, i prefer to take an executive, you can get A lot of benefit, more comfortable.

Beberapa kali naik ekomoni premium ada bule naik kereta. Padahal kalau dipikir2 selisihnya cuma 100an ribu sama kelas eksekutif, yang aku tebak sih ga worth it kalau nyari murahnya. Mungkin yang dicari pengalamannya kali, sambil beefikir agak positif

16:46 Tempe mendoan is more chewy coz they use thicker flour to fry it... but there is another variant of fried tempe that is more crispy
15:00 cireng came from west java.. people eat it with with spicy sauce, becoz it has no flavor, it is only gluten gluten and gluten, LOL.. not healthy. If you come to west java , there are 4 similar snacks cireng cimol cilok, cilor, all gluten.. cireng is a fried one.
