Date of Journey: October 2018
First of all I would like to say thank you to those who chased me to complete this video. I went for this trek in October 2018. I did upload a trailer of the trek in October 2018.

After uploading the trailer I gave up the idea of making a full video of Churdhar Trek, because of low response and secondly I shot most of the video with my mobile so the quality of video wasn't that good. But then few of my subscribers messaged me couple of times asking me about it. So then after 2 years I went through all my raw videos again and tried making a story line of my whole journey.
The story starts from Panchkula (near Chandigarh), from where we start our journey. Initially our route map was
Panchkula - Kumarhatti - Solan - Rajgarh - Nohradhar
But, from Kumarhatti, we took another turn towards Nahan because of a lot of traffic. And then we got lost. After driving about 60 km, we realized that we are much much off route and then we took another route to Rajgarh (advised by some localite). After driving for another hour, we reached Rajgarh, finally at 10:30 pm we reached Nohradhar. We wasted almost 2 hours in this chaos. And next day we had to start our Churdhar Trek early morning. But it's quite okay as unexpected things are suppose to happen on adventure.
Next day, our D day starts. Nohradhar to Churdhar is 18 km long trek with an elevation climb of 5000 ft (1524 m). Nohradhar is at an altitude of 7,000 ft (2133.6 m) and Churdhar is at an altitude of 12,000 ft (3657.6 m). In other words, Churdhar is on higher altitude than Leh (Ladakh). So, now you can imagine how difficult this trek could be, especially when you are not acclimatized. Our aim is to do up down in single day. That means we would have to trek for 36 km up down.

We reached the trekking point early morning at 5:30 am and met our guide. Then we started our climb in darkness with torch in our hand. The feeling was quite amazing and adventurous. We knew now that the challenge has begun and now there's no turning back. Finally after trekking through the difficult terrain and after too much of difficulties, we reached Churdhar peak at 1:30 pm. For many this was the end of day but for us it was just the half of adventure. Now we had to descend down back to Nohradhar.
Well we made it back to Nohradhar by 7:15 pm. Honestly speaking, we were dead tired and our phone's & camera's battery were also down. That's why we could not record anything thereafter.

CAN WE COMPLETE THIS TREK AND DISTANCE IN ONE DAY FROM CHANDIGARH TO TREK?
I guess yes but it will be too tiring and you wont enjoy it at all. Chandigarh to Nohradhar is around 5 hours. And 1 side trek is around 8 hours.
How much time it will take from Chandigarh
5 hours of drive till Nohradhar
I have already done this trek .....i did so many more but this one is my fvrt....
Sad to say but Shakal jada dikhai aur views bhut kam....
And if you are doing in 1day it was really tough....hats off to you both but you missed the real peace.....am still imaging how you enjoyed in 1 day up down😅😅😅
There is so much more to show in vlog but sadly am lil disappointed.

Thank you for your honest feedback Vipul. We had very little time to finish this trek and tried our best to cover what we can. Keeping in mind that we have to come down the same day, we needed to maintain good pace. The trek is so difficult that its so hard to keep capturing everything. Also, we werent properly acclimatized. 7000 ft to 12000 ft (Leh is 11500 Ft) is dangerous and super tiring. But I enjoyed reading your comment.

wait till may..if you want to stay on the peak.. as of now its all covered with snow
i just completed the summit on 14th March.
Yes theres a Dharamshala just few meters after reaching the top. Though I haven't been there. But it remains closed in winters and opens in summers only

I am from near Nohradhar, did my graduation from Solan, and working in Chandigarh.
The Shirgul Maharaj also known as Chudeshwar Maharaj is our Kul Devta and also knows as the king of Himachal.
The only thing that disturbed me was you took a very long route.
That is Chandigarh - Solan- Rajgarh- Nohradhar
Next time please try this one: Chandigarh- Nahan- Sangrah- Nohradhar (This would be more interesting and exciting)
