Are the top fly weight afraid to face Valentina? They are always asking for "one more fight" before a title shot.
She knows what would happen.
She said two before this fight. Now one. Obviously it is her plan. She needs a win vs a top 5 opponent.
@@willejones1918 I wasn't talking specifically about Grasso, she's one of my favs, but about all top fly weight fighters. I think it's a mistake. What if in the next fight they match her against Taila Santos? Santos will destroy her. She should call out for the title match now and, at least, capitalize. Surely, her chances against Valentina are a little bit higher than against Santos.
@@akobayashi9381 Santos is due for a fight. Grasso will not fight for 3 months or longer. A win for Santos will get her a rematch for the title. But her best bet is to work on getting a fight with Murphy. Both are due, and both are top 5. They are the only top 5 contenders due to fight.
O'Neil, Barber, and Lee should be fighting someone soon, as well. But a win vs any of them wouldn't help Santos, and a loss would hurt her. Maybe Andrade, which I hope not. Hoping Andrade stays at Strawweight. But she is due to fight soon.
Chookagian should be Grasso's next fight, or Fiorot. They have recent fights. Fiorot will likely fight Shev next. Probably Feb.
Should be a few months before Viviane fights again. And she should work on fighting someone a bit lower so she can get back on the winning side of things. Like what Maia is doing. Maybe Barber, if Barber waits a little longer.
@@akobayashi9381 I didn't look at injury reports, but that is the most likely scenario. Unless a fighter or two are injured there. Pretty sure Grasso and Viviane will take a few months.
